The place to stay in Southern Sweden

Outstanding experience on all levels from beginning to end. Very friendly and professional checkin, and the rooms are top notch with a superb locally sourced breakfast.

Noisy, boring, cold

I had been looking forward to staying at this reputable hotel, but was very disappointed. They had stone floors in the hallway and therefore the slightest noise was heard in the room, from rolling suitcases to talking guests. I often stay in hotels, but I have never experienced stone floors in the corridor - it has to be carpet to dampen noise. It was impossible to sleep with these sounds. The room was also not well insulated against the corridor, but there was a large gap under the door. The room looked like a hospital, it was incredibly clean and white. Some may like it but there was nothing that made the room personal, cozy or interesting. It pulled enormously cold from the old window, the cold from outside went straight in. Could not change the temperature in the room because the thermostat must have been broken. Some buttons to the light in the bathroom did not work. Advantages include that the room was large and clean. Breakfast was small and everything was tiny - from rolls to dessert. But the breakfast was despite the small format nice. The great benefit of this hotel was the dinner in the evening, but I recommend staying elsewhere at night.

Recommended

Nice stay, highly recommended! Nice check-in where all hotel facilities were explained carefully. Good room with nice selection in minibar.
A few things to note: slightly unclear whether you could order coffee during breakfast. Got a "I guess so" in response. The shower has no protection which makes it wet throughout the bathroom.
If I go to Växjö I will gladly stay at PM again!

Comfortable stay

Comfortable room with spacious bathroom and powerful shower. Breakfast good. No kettle in room - was available on request but had to go down to reception to pick it up. Room did not have bathrobes. Nice bar - did not try the restaurant as did not have the chance during our short stay. Onsite bakery was fabulous. Parking was expensive in the onsite garage. Stayed in a classic double. Would stay again.
