Family hotel with good service and fair value for money.
The location is good, it is 10 or 15 minutes from Lucerne and, although it is small, it has a couple of good options for lunch or dinner. The hotel itself has a good restaurant and a very pleasant terrace.
The rooms are austere, but functional. It might need an upgrade to the furniture or bathrooms, but it more than delivers.
The breakfast is a buffet, traditional style, and for a small hotel, it has a wide selection.
There is hardly any noise and the room was clean, but during my stay they didn't clean it even once, and I was there for several nights.
I think the value is fair, and I was more interested in staying here than in Lucerne for convenience and with considerable savings.

One night stop with dinner
At the restaurant, dinner was perfect. Very good food, good quality and choice for wine. Quick and courteous service. The price, both for dinner and for the room, correct.
The single room, simple, cute and clean Even the bathroom clean and with everything you need. There are also a pair of earplugs for those who can't stand the bell tower nearby. They didn't help me, even though I was sleeping with the window open.
I found it positive that on arrival you receive a voucher for a drink at the bar or hotel.
I found the bar on the ground floor a little dark. Sitting at the table I was almost "reproached" for not going to the counter to order and get the drink. But if this was my first time there, how was I supposed to know?
So I recommend the restaurant and the hotel... a little less the bar.
