All-around excellent accommodation.

I am overjoyed to have ended up here. Very professional and personable, very clean. I was in a 6-bed room with strangers, it was great.
Sanitary facilities were spotless. Breakfast available from 6:30 a.m., and very, very extensive.

Unprofessional treatment despite clear booking

I stayed at Nyon Hostel in September 2025 and wanted to make my bed (No. C, lower bed) extend seamlessly. Although the bed was free, the receptionist initially told me there were no lower beds available. Only after a phone call with Booking.com was it confirmed that the extension would have been possible without any problems.
It was particularly irritating that the incident was later dismissed as “fun” by the reception. For guests who depend on reliability and clear communication, such behavior seems unprofessional.
In addition, I had repeated difficulties with the invoices issued: Address details were not stored correctly, and the documents had neither official logo nor stamp or signature. This is insufficient for a longer stay or for people who need correct evidence.
Positively noteworthy is the support provided by Booking.com, which helped clarify the situation. I would have expected more professionalism and commitment from the hostel.

Great stay in Nyon, Switzerland!

Clean and organized room. Nyon Hostel was my first introduction to Swiss Hostel
policies on putting your bed sheets which is great.
Sharing toilets is state of the art. It’s like going to a membership gym washroom and has its own wall hair dryer which is fantastic.
The staff are all great! They explained the check-in process very well.
They had a free storage locker area downstairs which is helpful because I usually go out and explore around the area before the actual check in time.

Honestly, one of the best hostel with the best facilities/equipments for basic travelling needs.
First, clean af. Second, the shower room is designed really well: well-lit, have separate and large shower/changing cubicles, and equipped with very effective hairdryers. Third, luggage storage is free, secure and convenient to use. Fourth, it has a good kitchen/common area. Fifth, the price includes free breakfast starting at 630am, enough early of a time.
However, the kitchen is closed at 2300 and only reopens only at 0630; for those who needa leave the place early in the morning will have to negotiate earlier with them (to avoid possible unpleasant encounter). And if you can’t have breakfast during the assigned time, there’s no other alternative like simple packed breakfast possible—good thing tho, the free flow coffee starts at 3am.
It’s a place I would think of staying, if I happened to visit this area again.

Clean and functional accommodation, very nice breakfast!

We booked this hostel as pilgrim accommodation. It was a bit more expensive than a simple pilgrim hostel, but we were happy with the rooms, the cleanliness and, above all, the breakfast was surprisingly varied. It's great that after booking you get the guest card for free public transport on the day of your arrival. Top service from Nyon!
