A good place to stay.
Located close to the station, comfortable beds, well appointed. Only the unevenly mounted handrail in the bathroom would be the nearest thing to a complaint. Breakfast was as in previous visits, plenty to choose from, except a couple of days where the bacon and sausages were not in the heater on slices of bread so were a bit on the greasy side. Looking forward to next year's visit.

pleasent stay
pleasant stay for one night. Nice and very clean rooms. Atmosphere good and very friendly receiption. Location is good as in a few minutes you are in Olten down town

Very gladly again.
The room as well as the bathroom were very large and clean.
We had a very quiet room. The view was towards the courtyard, but the peace was more important.

Olten is a central rail hub with fast connections
Stayed recently and had a great experience. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel is an easy 5-minute walk from Olten train station — ideal for travelers. Olten itself is a pleasant, reasonably priced, and quaint town with good restaurants and shopping.
Location is the big advantage: Olten is a central rail hub with fast connections — Bern 30 min, Zurich ~30 min, Lucerne ~35 min, Interlaken ~1.5 hr, Walenstadt ~1.75 hr — and even a direct train to Stuttgart (3.25 hr). Perfect as a base for day trips around Switzerland and beyond.
Breakfast was excellent: eggs, bacon, coffee, juice plus a typical Swiss spread of cold cuts, cheeses, and fresh bread. Friendly staff and good value for the price. Highly recommend Amaris Hotel Olten as a convenient and comfortable home base for exploring Switzerland.
