Breakfast and dinner were great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a bit small, but still comfortable.

Lovely family-run hotel in ideal location for Signalbahn cable car but 25 min walk to train station

Traditional-style room/hotel, fairly comfortable bed but not much space around it. No bedside table on the side next to the shower room and only a small shelf on the other side. The only socket was on the desk the other side of the room. The shower room was the most compact I've ever been in, which was okay for one night. The towel rail was positioned such that towels have to hang above the toilet. The shower tray is so small there is barely space to turn round – but not enough room to slip over!
There were thoughtless people talking loudly right outside our room (in the hallway) at 6.30 a.m. Then at 7.30 we were woken by a man using a leafblower right outside (we were on 2nd floor) – really don't understand why that was necessary, at that time of day, in late June! And he was determined to do a very thorough job, continuing for over half an hour … then there was the sound of cowbells in the evening and after breakfast, but that was relatively soothing and unobtrusive. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice of fruit, decaf coffee and a good selection of bread including delicious dark rye bread. If you want to ski this would be an ideal location just across a footbridge from the Signalbahn cable car. However, there's not much choice of places to eat nearby (don't go to Caruso's – service was indifferent and food not great quality, plus they'll charge you CHF5.50 for a litre carafe of tap water), and it's a 15-20 minute walk to the Dorf part of St Moritz.

We are sorry to hear that your room felt cramped. Our most economical room categories are indeed compact, which is why we clearly state the square footage of these rooms on all booking platforms to ensure transparency. Regarding the noise, we sincerely apologize for the disturbance; while we always encourage our guests to be mindful of others in the hallways, we unfortunately cannot fully control their behavior. Furthermore, we will review our maintenance schedule to ensure that necessary tasks like gardening work are conducted at more appropriate hours for our guests' rest.
We would also like to clarify that there are several excellent dining options in our immediate vicinity. Our partner hotel, Hotel San Gian, offers a high-quality restaurant, and the Hotel Laudinella hosts five more restaurants apart from Caruso. Additionally, Ristorante Roberto is right next door, and within a 10-minute walk, you can find other well-regarded venues such as the Veltlinerkeller, Banfi’s, and Pizzeria Riccardo’s.

This is how a vacation should be

simply completely satisfied with this hotel. Very friendly staff from check-in to room service to service during meals. The kitchen also deserves great praise. We will be back.

Very friendly staff. The room was in a very quiet location and very clean. The food, breakfast buffet and evening menu, were all to our satisfaction.

Hotel Nolda was a great place to base our stay in St. Moritz. The room, although very small, was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were excellent and the location is good if you want to avoid the super-expensive downtown hotels. Don't be concerned it is too far away as the hotel provides a travel card that gives you free bus transportation around town and on trains throughout the Engadin region, which we used multiple times, It also gives you free access to several trams including the one right next door to the hotel that whisks you up to a beautiful location on the Corviglia ski mountain with a great view of St Moritz, the lake, and the entire surrounding area.
