Hotel Stille se nachází na okraji lesa Staz, nedaleko jezera Svatomořic, pouhých 50 metrů od autobusové zastávky. Č. 9. Běžkařská trať vede přímo u domu. Wi-Fi je k dispozici ve všech jednotkách zdarma.

Amazing apartment, easy access, amazing views
David was an amazing manager. Came personally to the bus stop and escorted us to the apartment, which was amazing, spotlessly clean with great views of the mountains. Lovely balcony. Very good sized apartment, which made it feel more like being at home rather than a hotel. Everything one would need was provided and it looked pretty new. Very easy access from the station, a 10 minute bus ride which stops very close to the apartment. Would have loved to stay longer. Short walk to the lake. Loads of hikes around the area.
David was very kind and had upgraded us too. David's communication via email and WhatsApp was the best I had in Switzerland.

Clean, modern apartment in scenic St Moritz with mountain railways pass
This is my fourth stay in St. Moritz but my first at Aladin Apartments/Hotel Stille. We had a great time! And this property is definitely fantastic value for money. We've liaised with the property manager, David, over email a few months before our stay and he's been consistently friendly and helpful. It was great to finally meet him in person during our stay. He's contactable on Whatsapp throughout, giving us a good amount of privacy while also being responsive to our queries.
We stayed in the Apartment (the property also has rooms and studios) which can accommodate 3-4 adults. It has a full kitchen, dishwasher, three single beds, a sofa bed and a bathroom with a shower/tub combination (not sure about the other units). We had access to the communal washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board in the basement, which is very convenient when you're on a long trip and don't want to be bogged down by heavy luggage.
Check-in and check-out were easy; we received an email with check-in instructions 1-2 days before the trip. The building has a lift and the underfloor heating kept the apartment cozy although it snowed when we were there.
The building is located near the "St. Moritz Bad, Youth Hostel" bus station which is served by bus #609. But if you're mobile and don't have a lot of luggage, you can also use the "St. Moritz Bad, Sonne" stop a few minutes' walk away which is served by more buses. Car parking spaces are also available for a fee but we didn't use them as we took public transport. St. Moritz Bad is the "quieter" part of the area (St. Moritz Dorf is where the glitzy boutiques are) which we prefer, but it might not suit those looking for a more lively vibe. The hotel is not on the lake but it's just a 3-4 minutes' walk away.
Our favourite part: the hotel provides guests with a pass that allows unlimited (!!) rides on mountain transport in the Upper Engadine, including cable cars to Diavolezza, Piz Nair and Piz Corvatsch as well as the funicular to Muottas Muragl and Corviglia. The Swiss Travel Pass does *not* provide a discount for these particular mountain railways so the pass we got from the hotel is excellent value.

Very clean room, warm room, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Kitchen was clean and new.

Worst hotel and experience
I had the worst experience staying here. Upon arrival I met David who was very rude. Apparently this place is not a hotel, it’s more like Airbnb. You can’t arrive earlier than your time or late. We were lucky that our rain was late and we reached right at 4, or we would have had waited outside. No reception nothing that sort. It’s just called hotel. I had booked my reservation with Priceline for 2 adults and 2 kids and had paid total charges for kids to Priceline. David argued that he can only see reservation for 2 in his side with booking.com, I explained him that we booked with Priceline -‘d shows him on my app this booking but he kept arguing for us to pay him $70CHF more for 2 kids. Almost wasted and hour back and forth with him. We were tired of long trip and told him we need to get going for activities that we have signed up for me but this person didn’t care. I would strongly suggest not staying here for many reasons but most important the service. Location is way out and nothing close by. Lesson learned.

The flat in Aladdin studios was spacious and very clean. David was very helpful on the first day. However on Hotels.com this flat/studio was advertised as a hotel which is very misleading. There is no hotel reception. You have to go to the youth hostel for breakfast - no problem but you should be told this before you book
