Still "the house at the square"
The hotel has been "the first house" in the area for years. Very friendly service, beautiful rooms right by the lake.
The creaking floorboards in the room are not bothersome at all - they are part of the charm! Well and practically furnished, parking is right by the house. Small but nice sauna.
Why only four stars? At a certain price point, I expect the room service to be a bit better: refilling the tea (there was only one bag in the room anyway...), clearing away used cups, that is certainly not too much to ask.
Breakfast - great service. Just please a bit less quantity over quality: the rolls are bland, the cold cuts could be of higher quality (everything is a bit lacking in flavor) - instead, I would gladly skip the spring rolls and large amounts of salmon.

My favorite hotel on Lake Constance
Outstanding service with a personal touch!
Since my assistant and I have visited the hotel several times, we were once again welcomed in a particularly warm and personal manner. This appreciative and individual treatment extends throughout the entire team. Cleanliness, comfort, and service were top-notch as always. A big thank you for the great hospitality – we will remain loyal regular guests!

Harassment Oasis
An employee harassed me the whole time; he was drunk. When I complained to the reception manager, Ms. Diana Rosario, she laughed at me and said that he is the hotel director, Mr. Kern, and that the head of the human resources department is his mother. She did nothing and offered me a drink voucher.
So rude, a disgrace to the hospitality industry.

Very good hotel with an ideal location.
Very large room (112) with 4 windows, but the sanitary area is a bit small. Very clean and optimal sleep quality.
Very rich breakfast with good service.
Why the reception, despite our request, failed to inform us about the arrival of our luggage is known only to the gods.
Well-known interface problem, as no information is passed on to colleagues – unfortunate.

The price-performance ratio is not right here
We stayed here already in 2023 and were thrilled, therefore booked again. I have to say the hotel has worn off pretty much at all levels.
Check in after 4pm. We arrived earlier and guests who came after us could check in. The fact that dogs are allowed in the hotel is also annoying. You don't know if you'll get a room where a dog was in it and if you're allergic to dog hair you have problems. It is assured that you will not get a room where dogs were in it, but do you really know? Even the dogs are allowed in the dining room I do not think ok. Is my personal opinion,
To save resources, we postponed the cleaning to every 2 days, however, cleaning was not done on the second day. Only on call at the reception was cleaned. When the day was due for cleaning again, we asked at the reception in the morning for safety and behold, they had completely cancelled the cleaning. Only when my wife intervened was the cleaning re-entered in the PC.
Now the shortcomings:
In the coffee machine were still capsules and water from the previous tenant. The water should be emptied (risk of legionella) and the empty capsules disposed of. Have then, when we were present at a cleaning, that the water is filled into the machine by the cleaners.
During cleaning, the coffee cups and glasses were rinsed in the sink and put back down by the cleaning staff. I can't do it.
The TVs (we had two in the room) are grotto bad and you get "eye cancer". No HD, picture on a TV went dark after about 1 hour of use; remote control only partially work.
The mattresses are sagged.
Window blind defective (Why do the cleaners not report this deficiency?)
The price for parking is in my view overpriced (17 €/day) and there are far too few parking spaces. Parking is crisscrossed in the parking lot.You dare not drive away, because you probably don't get parking on return
On the breakfast table are withered flowers
Work is mainly carried out by trainees

We stayed at this hotel for the last time. Just because dogs have access here and you don't know if you'll get a room where a dog might have been in it.
