Stunning view and very friendly staff.
Even before departure, the email communication was extremely fast and very friendly. I had a business comfort room with a phenomenal view from the balcony, a comfortable bed, a minibar, and air conditioning... simply perfect.
It's nice that there is a pool and a large sunbathing area as well.
The breakfast was varied and fresh, simply delicious and... of course again with a view of Lake Constance, wonderful!

The hotel made a great impression. Room number 114 is highly recommended. It was clean and the furnishings were absolutely superb. The view of the lake is absolutely breathtaking.

Stunning views in a lovely location.
Beautiful location with exceptional views from the terrace and from our room. Staff were friendly and helpful. We thought the food in the main restaurant was excellent but the dinner menu was very limited which wouldn't suit everyone. The breakfast buffet was chaotic as the hotel was very busy but the staff did a good job keeping everything topped up. The hotel is large and sprawling with a number of buildings linked by long corridors which would be problematic for anyone with mobility issues. There is a large car park for hotel guests. The hotel is in need of a refurbishment, our room and bathroom were very dated and not to the standard you expect these days. You can walk to the lakeside in about half an hour but be warned it's uphill on the way back.

It is wonderful that despite that you were able to enjoy your stay and the unique setting of our hotel. The walk back up the hill certainly rewards our guests with a good training effect and with some of the best views in Überlingen! If you want to avoid the sporty aspect you can always take the complimentary bus which brings you within a couple of minutes to our hotel.

Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. The description of the hotel is indeed too positive.
First, the positive points: The location of the hotel is beautiful, and the terrace, as well as the service, is friendly and helpful everywhere.
The guarantee to access the room from 3:00 PM was not accurate.
The paths from the rooms to the pool or restaurant are sometimes very long and connected by intermediate stairs.
The single room is very small, with a narrow 90 cm bed against the wall and a very small bathroom without any storage options, which is no longer up to date. A shower cap is missing.
The tiles at the inner edge of the pool urgently need to be cleaned!!!!
The lounging area next to the pool is small and equipped with only a few loungers.
The food on the weekend was okay; before that, it was rather good traditional fare. One could only choose between 3 dishes for the main course; the appetizer and dessert were not interchangeable and very simple.
The surcharge for half board of €49.00 is set too high.
It was also very annoying to have to log in to the Wi-Fi network daily.
The entire hotel would benefit greatly from a facelift, as some aspects no longer correspond to a 4-star hotel. In other comparable hotels, for example, there is a small lunch snack available.

Gern möchten wir kurz auf unsere Halbpension eingehen: bereits bei der Buchung weisen wir auf das Servieren eines festen 3-Gang-Menüs hin. Dieses Konzept wird von vielen unserer Gäste sehr geschätzt, ist jedoch selbstverständlich nicht verpflichtend. Alternativ besteht jederzeit die Möglichkeit, das Abendessen individuell aus unserer À-la-carte-Karte sowie den saisonalen Empfehlungen zusammenzustellen.
Für uns aber vor allem für Sie ist es natürlich sehr schade, dass Ihre Erfahrungen nicht durchgehend das widerspiegeln konnten, was wir unseren Gästen bieten möchten: eine sorgenfreie Zeit mit viel Genuss, Ruhe und Entspannung.
