When pampering and beautiful location blend together
We spent our holiday in Zanzibar in this wonderful property a step away from the beach being able to witness the incredible scenery created by the low tide. Antonio, the owner followed us from start to finish, constantly making sure everything was perfect for our needs inside and outside the facility. I would call him an excellent host like few. The guys who run the facility (Frida, Remo, Samira and all the other girls) are just like him, always available even anticipating our needs as very attentive and empathetic. We experienced the inconvenience of lost luggage due to the airline and x 2 days we had to make do but the guys were wonderful, they supported us and helped us to recover our suitcases as quickly as possible, keeping in touch with the airport for us.
As for the structure is Beautiful, our room then was a huge suite with veranda, overlooking the pool and the beach. All very clean, good food and breakfast facing the sea that I loved with a cappuccino, the best I tasted, even higher than what many Italian bars do.
What about... a corner of peace where you can relax and be pampered by people who know how to take care of guests. Apart from the location that is already very beautiful, it is just the feeling special thanks to these people that made the difference. I highly recommend it and would go back tomorrow.

Fantastic experience
We spent two wonderful weeks at Sofia Sea View, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and attended to all our needs with professionalism and warmth.
The hotel was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. Our room was spacious and offered all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The food at Sofia Sea View hotel was excellent. Every meal was delicious, and we enjoyed each one.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and satisfying retreat. We would definitely return!

Disappointed
This villa was such a disappointment. We had booked it through Bookings .com it stated it had 7 beds but it only had 6. That is a dilemma no one wants on holidays. When I booked the villa was it was supposed to be our private villa. Unfortunately we were out one morning and came back to the villa to find the manager having a meeting in our restaurant, then a couple from the sister hotel wandered in and sat on the sun beds. We were not consulted so I asked the staff why there were other people in our private Villa, they replied they were friends of the manager and he said they could use our facilities. The staff were put in a difficult position. The managers friend stayed for about 3 hours including having lunch. NOT HAPPY
What made things worst the cleaning staff had left the back door unlock so anyone could just wander in. The front door didn’t lock and as that was next to the kitchen we trusted the staff. It is sad because it is a nice place BUT IT IS NOT A VILLA IT IS JUST 3 BEDROOMS no living area with any seating indoors. No kitchen with working appliances. The housekeeping staff took 2 days to provide blankets.
There is a restaurant under cover with excellent staff and wonderful cook.
The owner lives in Italy and takes forever to answer any questions I had to book his experience transfer as he wouldn’t get give me an address, yes it was in a small village and maybe addresses don’t exits. Therefore I couldn’t get quotes from anyone else.
It could be a great place but it needs maintenance and better management.

we were deceived
Attention, they deceived us with the reservation.
We booked for two nights, when we arrived, the pool was half empty green, it was unhealthy and I forbade my children to bathe, there was no light in the entire house, the heat was unbearable inside, we couldn't have fresh water in the refrigerator, We don't even charge our cell phones or computers. We only spent one night instead of two, they told us that they would refund our money for one night. After 45 days, more than two months have passed and we have not received anything, in fact they have blocked my mobile phone so as not to contact them.

Our wedding on the beach at sunset
At this facility we made our dream come true! Getting married at sunset on the beach overlooking the Indian Ocean was a unique emotion. A heartfelt thank you to Antonio who made all this possible by taking care of the organization and to the super Daniele who followed and assisted us in every step.
In the wedding venue, a gazebo was created in front of the structure with white details and many flowers, the sand was dug to form a heart and a table with two chairs was placed.
After the moment for the two of us with the exchange of promises and faiths, the Maasai ritual began to make the situation more unique and unforgettable. Bottle of wine for the toast and then an excellent fish dinner provided by the structure. We ate really divinely!
It was also wonderful to be surrounded by the children of the village who did not want to miss the party singing and dancing
Thank you so much for making our wedding dream come true, you will all remain in our hearts.
