Our agent arranged this 4-star hotel, for its location, in regards to our departing from Taoyuan Int’l Airport. This looked like a ‘financial’ district coz we saw mostly banks nearby, closed, as it was the weekend. We arrived early via hire car from Nantou County. Room would not be ready till 1500 so we left our bags with reception Jason who processed check in smoothly, reminding to come back for keys in the afternoon.
We used the waiting time to explore surroundings, but most importantly to find our way to the airport via rail/train. The system connections to MRT are a bit more complicated (vs when in Taipei) but its doable, given enough time. By the way, when traveling on the HSR, its advisable to pre-book seats.
We booked a regular room, bkfast included, to avoid hassle of looking for a restaurant in the morning, since we didnt know the area. The buffet foods in the morning are very much asian/taiwan which was fine for us, staff very friendly & quick to clear tables, refill items, etc
The room itself is basic, clean & spacious…this was our last night in Taiwan, quite exhausted from the past days’ adventures, so the comfortable beds were a blessing for a good night’s sleep…no complaints, no regrets in choice of hotel…i personally appreciated the fresh coffee (self service, available in the lobby), after a day’s tour of the city or instead of making one in the room
After walking around, we found the hotel to be near lots of eateries, convenience stores & shops. Theres a couple of ‘points of interest’ to visit within walking distance, but most are further, via public transport.
Altho we had a night flight, we stuck with 1200 check out & used the remaining time for last minute shopping. We opted for direct transport to the airport as we now had more items/havier bags than we we arrived. The hotel has no shuttle service but again can arrange transportation with their trusted/contracted taxi company.
Interacted with several Front Desk staff, helpful & quick to assist…but sincere appreciation to Manager Danny, for answering queries regarding departure, etc but especially helping us with transportation argmt to the airport (when uber became NOT an option), then seeing us off upon departure
It was an overnighter, but we pretty much got the gist of the hotel’s style of service…I would say this hotel caters better to ppl on business travels, convention ∨ those who need a quiet/relaxing place to come home to, after a hard day out, whether as a tourist, etc… It was a good end to our Taiwan trip …”Thank you, Danny and all @ParkCityHotel!”

I used it on a tour!
In addition, the hotel facilities included a toilet with a shower, and disposable slippers were provided, so I was able to relax without worry. There was no separate shower room in the room I stayed in, but some rooms may have them...

Counter staff has bad attitude and is unfriendly
I went to Taichung to stay one night the day before going to Cingjing Farm. I chose this hotel because it is very close to the bus station to Cingjing Farm. The hotel uses self-service check-in and check-out. The waiters will help guests use the self-service machines. No. There will be manual check-in or check-out; so check-in can only be done at 3 pm, because the self-service machine should have set the time, and it cannot be checked even one minute earlier. This lacks human interaction for guests. The interaction and warmth between each other, as for the room is very clean and large, there is a dining table in the room, the wash basin is on the side of the room door, not in the bathroom, and after entering the room, it took me a long time to find the toothbrushThe toothpaste was originally placed in the cabinet of the room , the hotel Although it looks a bit old and the back wall is dirty, the rooms are generally very good. The mattress is a bit hard and the bed is large but very comfortable. The rent is not expensive and it is definitely worth staying. It is also very close to Taichung Station.

It's convenient, being within a 10-minute walk from the station, but there are few shops and restaurants nearby.
The gym has just the right amount of equipment for decoration.
