Staying for 3 nights, except the Room temperature was quite low (19°C) even if you chose to set it to (25°C), everything's remained more than expected.

Cost effective hotel in central Taipei easy to get around the city. The room was clean, super quiet with very friendly and kind staffs. Would highly recommend for solo travelers!

Just a little short of my expectations

This hotel didn't fully meet my expectations. I booked three rooms for our group of seven with seniors. While the rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable, our group struggled with the small and oddly designed bathroom with an open-concept layout (I guess?) with the enclosed shower stall on the left, sink in the center, and enclosed toilet on the right. The sink area was open to the rest of the room. There was no way to hang clothes or even a towel inside the shower stall, so one would have to go out to the sink area to get dressed. It was somewhat inconvenient.
I also disliked that the place only has one elevator with a very small weight capacity. It was a hassle during check out time.
And while I am aware of Taipei's policy on one-time use toiletries, and have been to Taipei multiple times since this policy was enforced, this was the first time I encountered a hotel that did not have free slippers in the room. You either bring your own or buy from the front desk. Each pair costs 20ntd. That said, I did love their shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I spotted the brand at Taoyuan Airport, it was not cheap! If you must know, The brand is Cha Tzu Tang.
I also emailed them in advance to ask if they could store our luggage for one night before we check in as we were headed to Alishan. They said they didn't have the space for overnight storage. They did keep our luggage for 2 hours after we checked out, though.
But of course, I chose this hotel for the location near Z4 exit (with elevator) of Z Underground (Station Front) Mall of Taipei Main Station. Other than my comments above, the rooms were pretty standard and even have Japanese bidet. Water temperature and pressure were good, as was the room temperature. The front desk staff were also friendly and accommodating.

Excellent hotel in Taipei

This was our favourite hotel of our three week trip of Korea and Taiwan. The design was interesting - industrial with blue touches. The hotel felt intentional and calm. The pillows and bedding were comfortable. The deluxe king room was spacious with plenty of room for our suitcases. Our daughter had a single room and it was smaller, but she did not mind at all. Soundproofing was great. The shower was high tech with temperature settings and a timer and the toiletries smelled nice. The toilet was Japanese style which we love. Location was excellent as weak as it was right near a convenient exit of the main train station. Great value for money.
