Unique experience - even for a local!

I stayed here with my fiance for one night, and it was a fun experience! I'm from Taiwan but as my parents now live in the countryside, we wanted a place to stay that was convenient and unique.
This hotel (motel?) was definitely designed for adults for a "fun night", but I think they're really capturing the tourist market since each room is unique and fun. The whole drive-in thing was interesting to see, and the room was really nicely decorated.
The rooms are huge. We took the one with the merry-go-round horses. The jacuzzi was large enough for 2, there was a steam room, plus they had all the amenities you might need after a wild night: skin care products, make up remover, disposable underwear, hairties, and condoms! The complimentary minibar was also very a nice touch.
The bed was soft and comfortable, and while there was KTV, it was too late for us to use it.
Some parts of the room needs updating, like the carpet was quite worn and a little dinghy, and I definitely avoided the two armchairs as they didn't look quite clean.
The breakfast in the morning was great, a good choice of hot and cold food, both western and eastern.
They reminded us of our check-out time which was appreciated. They also gave us an umbrella to borrow when we went out.
All in all, my boyfriend and I had a great time. It's right next to Miramar and the MRT, and there's plenty of nice restaurants nearby. For us, we stayed here for the experience, so 1 night was plenty, and worth it. We stayed somewhere cheaper and more central the other nights.

Luxury motel near to MRT station

First stay in Taipei Motel. This is luxury motel with individual theme. This room has karaoke system and big jacuzzi. It has good sound system and cable TV. The price is very reasonable for the size of the room and location.

Going downhill, but still a decent place for a quick romantic getaway

Wego has been the de facto name for love hotels in Taiwan. Their Dazhi flagship hotel has been around for more than a few years, and the interior has started to show its age. The rooms are cleaned enough (if not viewed with an UV light), considering that housekeeping only has 15 minutes or so between "turn-overs".

High quality with reasonable price, and good location in TPE

The reason I chose Wego was my budget concern. When I called them to confirm check-in and out time(Motels sometimes have their own rules), the lady offered me a good deal and explained details with her kind tone and patient attitude. Glad to know they offer business trip package for normal check-in and out time. They also had free parking space for guests while staying in such expensive area.
A lot of shops are nearby, easy to grab refreshments and it just right locates next a exit of MRT. Same easy for backpackers or people be there by public transportation. But I have to say that they did really care about single lady staying. The different staffs asked for my urgent contact relative information three times when I applied for check-in, returned to get the key card and last returned from dinner. I could understand their deep concern about me. And they did call to make sure too.
The room I stayed was RED. As it called, red and white decoration inside, cute small pack and colorful amenities for girls, one round shape jacuzzi and shower space, also with disinfection spray for using. Sad was I couldn't enjoy it fun because the jacuzzi plug was stuck that I couldn't let the dirty water go. Half moon bed with several heart shape pillows increase its warm welcome to guests.
Overall, Wego is a good choice for family or couple, even a single staying. The service fits all kinds of people need and affordable price (USD 80-120) too. Unfortunately, I missed the time to have breakfast that couldn't share experience.

One of a kind experience

We stayed in the boat house and it looked exactly like the picture on their website. Good and bad in a way; the interior that resembles a boat house does look amazing, but once you open the door that's it, you're looking at the whole room already. Other rooms might probably have partitions or more decorations that makes it look bigger rather than this open space concept. We still had an enjoyable stay nonetheless, the bed was huge and super comfy! Oh, and the amenities in the bathroom was so complete, i could even spend a night here without bringing anything with me.
