Welcome to experience a unique hotel style!
This hotel has a strange architectural design, it's unlikely to forget, plus the name of the tea style of the town, it's talented! In the hall, the aroma is pleasant, the tea shop concept is highly designed and crafty, and the housing will be served with a cup of tea. It feels like there are a lot of male waitresses here, they are polite and react back and forth very OK.
The room is not large with a large bathtub, the toilet (free toilet) is separate from the two, but quite special. The bath is also equipped with concentrated tea juice, you can pour into the hot pool water and enjoy the tea bubble soup! There is also a smart little Mechi for AI operation in the room, overall is a pretty good housing experience. Only the floor has a team of students and children, late at night still excited about the door, the little one is crying, of course it is unexpected and the guilt of the hotel, but it does not hide the yoga ...
Breakfast is a package plus semi-buffet, it is clean and delicious, the waitress clears the table and the dishes are fast.
No wonder the housing is often full! It is really a hotel that will make people return to stay again, hoping to continue to stay, long-lasting
PS. Hopefully the upper floor swimming pool will be opened as soon as possible so that the swimming pool overlooks the eastern area night view.

The lobby was big, unfortunately was full as they don’t let you check in a minute early.
The room was a good size and we didn’t feel crammed with our big suitcases.
Had a big deep Japanese style bath, with a tea soaking liquid. And the body wash and lotion were natural ingredients. Also the tea in the room was incredible quality from Alishan.
The room has an AI concierge/listening device. We unplugged it and house keeping plugged in in every day 😆
We were given a voucher for non alcoholic drink due to the fact the rooftop pool was closed for repairs.
This was the only disappointing experience in the hotel. We wanted to sit on the rooftop and have a few sunset drinks, even if the pool was closed.
Considering that there was no one else on the rooftop and we were actually wanting to purchase beers and cocktails The bar staff told us that we had to take our “non alcoholic beverage to our room and that the tables were for bookings only” After some attitude from the bar staff they let us sit at a table.
To note the rooftop is only open Friday-Sunday for a DJ club night for outside parties.
All other staff were polite and friendly.
The pre-order breakfast also comes with a mini buffet. Very tasty and satisfying.
Location is great. 8 minutes walk to the new Beimen train station. So you don’t need to trek back to the city centre for the Alishan train.
Also very close to a decent supermarket and several convenience stores
Some great food options around.

Zen Concept Hotel
The lobby is super impressive, definitely make a first good impression. Staff very helpful and friendly, special shout out to Ricky.
This is a hotel that focus on tea. So the amenities are made from tea, there is a bathtub for tea shower, the welcome gift basket is tea. Interesting experience.
Maybe is the room type that I selected but it is more couple friendly rather than family or friend friendly. The toilet door is flimsy and the shower tend to be quite transparent though there is a curtain which you can draw for privacy.
Sound proofing is not the best but it is still generally quiet. I might stay here again if I visit Chiayi but I am keen to check out other hotels under this brand.

the hotel's tea-themed lobby and tranquil setting appealing, and the check-in was efficient. However, they noted a contrast in friendliness between front office staff and service attendants, specifically praising a tall male staff member with glasses.
The room lacked hanging space, had limited amenities (2 biscuits, 2 tea bags, no coffee), a malfunctioning automated toilet, and non-functional Netflix. The centrally controlled AC had only an on/off setting, the bed was too firm, and the pillows too soft, leading to sleepless nights. Morning noise from housekeeping was also an issue.
Breakfast tasted good, with commendable noodle and dumpling options, but the dining room's aesthetic was disliked. The small, glass-enclosed fitness center had outdated cardio machines, no AC, towels, or water. The visually appealing pool had restricted hours, and the guest was dissatisfied with a late afternoon incident where a staff member impolitely asked them to leave or pay NTD300 without prior notification.
While the hotel exterior was well-maintained, some outdoor furniture and lighting were in disrepair and posed safety concerns.

Beautiful architecture and lobby design. Breakfast is hearty and service is good. The only compliant is the wall is thin and I got disturbed multiple times midnight by annoying people in next door.
