Poorly maintained, woeful staff

Everything about this resort feels neglected, dirty and miserable. The team cannot raise a smile for love nor money and the cabins haven’t seen a lick of paint or a duster for many years. Overpriced, filthy, unwelcoming, do not put yourself through it.

Room as in a ghost pea

We had booked a room (bungalow) for 10 nights due to the good reviews. I basically don't care if a hotel has 2 or 5 stars, so I know in advance what I will get. But I expect for my money at least cleanliness and that the decor is well maintained and in order. The room we were assigned was the most horrible I've seen in my 70-year life. It was so dirty and run down that I can hardly describe it in words. The attached pictures should give an impression. Everything was totally worn out, shower and sink mouldy, the decor spartan as in a mountain hut. Broken things haven't been fixed. Under the bed, cleaning has probably not been done for years, even bottles of pre-dwellers have been found. The staff was mostly listless and demotivated. The first and only evening we ate in the restaurant. Eternal waiting times and unfriendly service. We left the next morning after booking another hotel completely unnerved. The ~ 500.- Euro loss hurts, but better than letting the holiday go to waste

Nice hotel, the staff is wonderful!

Great hotel, great staff! All requests are answered instantly, we even have a mattress replaced! Some tired rooms, but the hotel is on the first line, very convenient! Your sunbeds, your snow-white underwear, your good breakfasts. Shops, 7-Eleven close, walk 15 minutes parallel to the shore. There was a money changer on the way to the store. Thank you very much, we're relaxing here now and we love everything!

We stayed at Tubtim for 3 weeks, in 3 different bungalows. The bungalows in N Zine are the nicest, but I’d only stay in the beachfront row again. The ‘garden view’ ones are up too many stairs, and we felt disconnected from the beach up there.
The staff is great. The beach is amazing. The breakfast is fantastic.
My only real complaint is the loungers in the beach. There are never enough for the guests, and staff actually had the 2 or 3 sets of chairs directly closest to the beachfront N Zone bungalows reserved every single day of our stay for other guests. I spent entire days on that beach without those reserved spots ever being used. Yet, when I tried to sit there, staff immediately came over and told me I had to move.
