Quiet Thai hotel in busy Bangkok

This was a quiet little gem in the middle of very busy Bangkok. We had lovely service and adjoining rooms for our family which worked out brilliantly. The massages were good, the breakfasts were lovely.

Pass and book elsewhere: excessive rate for the quality offered

I can’t agree more with the 1-star reviews, especially one written 7 years ago. It’s amusing (or maybe not so much) that everything in this seven-year-old negative review is entirely relevant today (cleanliness, deferred maintenance of the room, flying insects in the room, pool with damaged tiles which creates a risk, etc.). The photos here speak for themselves: dirty toilet with crocked lid, old upholstery which need replacement, stained curtains and drapes, broken curtains' rings, reading light and accent light not working, damaged walls, dirty spots in the ceiling. The mattress and pillows are quite hard and very uncomfortable; we didn’t get a restful night. Plus the light flooding from the bathroom is making it very difficult to sleep if you are used to sleep in a dark room. When I brought these issues to the front desk manager, she recommended to write a complaint!! The staff is kind and caring but the front desk manager needs to develop customer service skills. On the plus side, the location is convenient and the place has a cute traditional charm with plenty of greenery. The food is excellent. Overall, the rate charged is excessive for the quality offered. I would recommend to pass and to book elsewhere (across the street where there are two better and cheaper hotels).

A truly unique Bangkok experience

AriyasomVilla is a peaceful oasis in the middle of the energy and chaos of Bangkok. Warm, authentic and full of character, it made our first stay in Bangkok truly special. We couldn’t recommend it more highly and already know that AriyasomVilla will be our home in Bangkok whenever we return.

Very good place.

An intimate place in Bangkok (Sukhumvit), a stone's throw from a BTS station, we stayed 3 nights in the suite on the top floor with our two children aged 4 and 11, spacious and quiet room. It is a small hotel, which has a soul and a lot of charm in the middle of a lively neighborhood and on the edge of a canal but not noisy either in the evening or at night. Very well maintained with a very, very kind and helpful staff. Very good breakfast.
I also recommend the hotel restaurant where we dined several times and which is excellent (refined Thai cuisine).
One thing to criticize perhaps, the air conditioning which is noisy. A big thank you, if we can we will return!

Wonderful stay!

A haven of peace (magnificent old residence, "homemade" cuisine, very pleasant massages, attentive staff).
