Good location by the Tapae Gate

We stayed here for 3 nights in a room on the 10th floor. It was a room that had a door to the adjoining room, and unfortunately we could hear our neighbors through that door but the rest of the room was free of noise. The room was spacious with plenty of room for our luggage and a desk area if you need some workspace. The Wi-Fi worked good, and the bathroom had lots of counter space and even face cloths. Our reservation included breakfast at the ground floor restaurant (between 6 and 10:30am), but it can also be purchased individually for 350 baht. The breakfast options were fairly good, but some items like the pancakes were always cold. I enjoyed the noodle soup that could be ordered from the egg station. It had slightly different options each day. The way that the omelets were made (rolled together) unfortunately left the inside a bit undercooked. We chose not to have our room cleaned each day by using the do not disturb light by the bedside, but housekeeping each day still left us a bag on our door knob containing bottles of water and toilet paper which was a nice touch.

Good location, but don't expect much from breakfast.

The hotel is centrally located, ideal for travelers without a car. It's within walking distance of the old city moat, Warorot Market, the Night Bazaar, and the Walking Street. For those with cars, there's a multi-level parking lot, but no elevator, making luggage difficult. The rooms are typical of older hotels, with noisy air conditioners, clean bathrooms, and good hot/cold water. Breakfast is standard, with a salad bar, bread, ham, sausage, fried/scrambled eggs, and a self-service coffee machine. The Thai hot dishes weren't very good, and some items were unexpectedly on the buffet line, including noodles (which I was happy to order, but the staff said it was beef noodles – it seems they didn't want anyone to eat it, considering the hotel is full of Muslim guests; they should have offered chicken or fish noodles instead, as the hotel is packed with Thai and Chinese tourists). The restaurant staff and bellboys provided good service, but the front desk lacked customer service skills. In summary, it's a decent hotel for the price. If you don't usually eat breakfast, I'd recommend Hop Inn or B2 instead.

The hotel was terrific. The staff are waiting to grab you luggage and take you to your room on arrival. Checkin was easy. The room was spacious and very clean. My room was for 12 with a terrific view. There were plenty of options, although except the bar for s couple drinks, I spent most of my time in the city. It is located just outside old city of that's impregnated to you. Grab is stock and affordable to get around.

Would not stay here again!

The hotel lobby is very impressive, leading you to assume that the rest of the hotel might be as well. Wrong! The public and private areas are in dire need of cleaning and refurbishment and rooms upgraded.

Half Way Decent

we spent two nights in this hotel. it was so-so. tired. room needed to be brought up to date. it was close to what we wanted to see and the breakfast was ok. linens in bed and bath were decent. don't miss the elephant sanctuary. you can bathe them!
