Great Stay!
My wife and I had an outstanding stay at the Lee Chiang Hotel in Chiang Mai. Initially, we booked the hotel because of its excellent location, but by the end of our visit we realized the true highlight was the hospitality.
Tucked just behind Wat Phra Singh in the heart of Old Town, the hotel is perfectly located — close to restaurants, temples, markets, and nightlife, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night.
The breakfast each morning was simple, fresh, and consistently delicious. The made-to-order eggs were especially excellent and became part of our daily routine before heading out to explore Chiang Mai.
What truly sets the Lee Chiang apart, however, is the staff. Every interaction from check-in to check-out was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The owner/manager deserves tremendous credit for creating such a hospitality-focused environment and for building a team that clearly cares about guests.
The Lee Chiang Hotel delivers the kind of thoughtful, personal hospitality that travelers remember long after the trip ends. We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Chiang Mai.

An unforgettable stay, we will gladly return!
First of all it must be said that the owner and his staff did not miss anything and always made sure that we were always comfortable. The room is spacious, always spotless and stocked daily with water and all necessities. The location is convenient and allows you to visit the center of Chiang Mai easily. A special thanks to the owner who welcomed us in a friendly way and was always able to fulfill all our requests; he provided us with a lot of useful information about Chiang Mai. This was the perfect place to stay during Songkran. It was far enough away from a lot of the main action but close enough to walk everywhere and central to other parts of the city outside of the Songkran holiday. The manager was extremely pleasant and helpful, always with a nice word to say. For Songkran, they were thoughtful enough to provide water guns and plastic cases for your phone and valuables. Will definitely stay at Lee Chiang next time I’m in Chiang Mai.

The rooms were clean and everything was close within walking distance.The AC kept the room cool. The staff was friendly and helpful, making suggestions about what to do in the nearby community. The breakfast was fresh fruit, freshly prepared, eggs, various teas, coffees, pastries, rice, etc.

I really liked staying here for 4 nights and would definitely come back. It's location within the old city walls of Chiang Mai is perfect for walking around the historic city and seeing nearly all of the important sites. And the street is very quiet and tucked away from any traffic noise. The room itself was a bit dated, but that's part of the charm of the property itself -- which is very comfortable and cozy -- and honestly feels like home. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. And the breakfast offered plenty of options to fuel me up for the day. Highly recommend!
