A nice authentic boutique Thai hotel, which is just that more personal than the big hotels

A very authentic Thai hotel. You are made to feel welcome from the minute you arrive. The staff are all very helpful. You are given a delightful platter of Thai delicacies served beautifully. A complimentary shuttle each night to the night market is also a nice idea. The rooms are spacious which is always good when travelling with suitcases. The only drawback is the pool area is a bit rundown. While the pool is lovely, the decking could do with maintenance. Overall we would go back as the staff are so nice.

Charming hotel in Chiang Mai’s old city with friendly, helpful staff. Nice design, with rooms around a pretty pool. The TV in our room didn’t work properly and the breakfast was a little disappointing, but otherwise the hotel was comfortable, convenient and an excellent choice for the price.

Beautiful property and pool. Room was perfect. Decking around the pool is over due to be replaced. The friendliest staff ever. We had such a great time at the Rim.

Great hotel! With great attention to details.
The staff is super friendly and kind.
Well located, you can walk from the hotel to the old town without taking a taxi.
Bedroom is lovely and wide, so is the bathroom!
Breakfast is great too, a lot of choice.
The pool area is nice but the water a little bit cold.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Rim resort

What a fabulous place, from the moment we arrived and were greeted with a cold flannel and refreshing drink from smiling staff we knew we had chosen a great place to stay.
The staff are some of the best we encountered on our trip, always smiling and helpful. The hotel is peaceful with large rooms, we had a room with a balcony overlooking a garden area, the room was beautifully styled and immaculately clean, the hotel is just within the city walls but walkable to markets and temples etc or easy to grab a taxi.
Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again 😊
