Brilliantly friendly and helpful in a lovely building with charm and character. On Sunday evenings it turns up to 11.

Lovely place and very worthy of a stop for a drink and a snack.

We called into this bar one night to ‘rehydrate’ after an afternoon tour around the Old City!! It was, that night, quiet, peaceful and a lovely time for the four of us to just chill. Added bonus was an excellent Argentinian White Malbec. Also, our travelling companions, Missouri and Taurus, met some new Pooh Bear friends.
We were very well looked after and so it was our first choice after shopping in the Night Market. This time it was pretty full with a great band playing and, thankfully, still some White Malbec.

Not as good as as it use to be

For this occasion, we reserved a stay of four nights. Over the years, we have frequently visited this place with family and friends. This is a charming French colonial-style building located in the heart of the old town. The rooms are spacious and feature comfortable twin beds. The shower facilities were adequate although the towels were of poor quality.
Previously, breakfast was included, which we assumed was still the case. However, we were charged 250 baht each for a coffee, banana, and croissant, which I found to be quite expensive.Previously, eggs and toast were available, but it appears that cooked food options have now been removed.
The continuous barking of the neighbor's dogs throughout the night was somewhat disruptive, prompting me to use headphones to mitigate the noise.
We inquired about leaving three suitcases in storage while we completed the Hong Son Mae loop for a week, and they confirmed that it was permissible.Upon our return, they requested 300 baht for storage, which is unusual based on my extensive travel experience, even when not staying at the location.
In conclusion, we will not be returning to this establishment due to excessive noise from dogs, inadequate housekeeping service, and substandard breakfast options.

Beautiful colonial style hotel rooms with an amazing view of the mountains in a bustling part of Chiang Mai. The street can be loud but name somewhere in a city that’s always dead quiet. Awesome spot to check out Sunday night market as well and the staff are super nice

Great hotel nice big room , a lot of restaurants, temples , shops around the hotel . Nice view from room on 4 floor . Great breakfast and nice friendly staff
