Highly recommend...

After a six-hour ferry ride from Phuket, stepping into our hotel felt like a reward in itself. We were welcomed by smiling staff — and the resident cats — which instantly set a cozy tone.
️ Room & Comfort
The room was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with towels, snacks, and Nestlé coffee packets. The air conditioning kept us cool, the shower ran hot, and there were plenty of blankets and pillows for the three of us.
Services
Laundry arranged through the front desk was returned overnight, fresh and professional.
Accessibility Note
The stairs leading to the loft are a bit steep, so travelers with mobility concerns should keep this in mind.
Location & Transport
Perfectly situated near the pier, with tuk tuk drivers offering friendly service and flat rates across the island.

Lots of mosquitoes. Ok stay.

Nice rooms for the price. We stayed in 4 of the colored “cabins” Good air conditioning and an ok bathroom with flowing hot water. Mook Ing is close to the harbor. The big minus must be said that there were extremely many mosquitoes. We were bitten to such a degree that a week later we still had red itching bites. There's being sprayed and smoked for mosquitoes, but it obviously didn't work. Mosquitoes are a general problem for the whole island. Two days on the island was enough for us. Extremely friendly people on Koh Mook. We thank you for an ok stay.

This is a lovely resort best comfy beds ever.

Well I must say this has got to be the best place we have stayed in during our 4 weeks travelling so far?
We had the bungalow B1 orange colour of 4 in row. Very spacious, clean but most importantly comfortable bed we slept so well here. Bedding was changed every two days lovely throws made bed so inviting. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate was replaced every day. We were given fresh fruit every day when we got back from beach which was needed after a hot day out! Bathroom was a good size shower powerful and hot.
The a/c unit again was best we have had so far worked very well and made no noise .
Staff are friendly, keep the resort very well maintained.
Great location near restaurants and bars also beaches.
After spending day swimming near pier we were told not to as sting rays nest there!
This has been a lovely 5 night stay and I 100% recommend

Wonderful stay, peaceful, well kept, clean

What a lovely place this is! Friendly hotel team, fruit platters offered every day and the rooms are clean, spacious and the linen is lovely and soft. The a/c works a treat. The grounds are kept beautifully and are spotless. It’s a peaceful and relaxing place. Nice little balcony/patio with tables and chairs. Short walk to “town” and from the pier - you can easily walk here from a boat, you needn’t get a taxi unless your luggage is heavy. We had a family room and it was spacious and the kids loved the bunk beds. Definitely recommend to stay for couples or a family! Thank you, Mook Ing Lay

A Gem in Paradise

Koh Mook is superb the island and the people who live on it is the best of Thailand. Mook Ing Lay s the perfect accommodation located at the end of the pier its gardens are amazing and the rooms are superb.
The bd was super comfy, toilet and shower facilities extremely good and we enjoyed it so much we have just booked a return trip for 2026...
