Railay paradise
We loved this hotel. Yes, it is a short, steep climb up the hill, you can hear the long tail boats but the location, view and layout compensates. The rooms are built separately , each had a cool (no air con but fan is fine) light room and a private sitting area to watch the world go by. And just 10 minutes away from main Railay streets but feels a world away, very private. Complementary tea and the simple breakfast with the same view made this perfect. Lovely grounds and a special treat to see the monkeys on our last day

Beautiful Railay Garden View
What a wonderful place to stay and experience!
Simple, comfortable, beautiful, natural, with kind and caring staff...what more can I say.
It's like Thailand was 25 years ago before the boutique and chain hotels took over.
There is plenty of nature and wildlife. If you're lucky the gentle and shy Dusky Langur monkeys will visit.
There are quite a few steps, but the seclusion and views are worth it!
There are little shops and restaurants/bars within a short walk, and it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the main beach and shops.
One thing to note is that there is no Aircon, just fans, but there is plenty of shade from the trees, and you do get used to it. We stayed during peak hot season and survived :).
We didn't want to leave, and it was easily one of our favourite places on our trip!

Amazing hotel, our room on wooden stilts had a beautiful view of the bay and a great veranda for sitting in the evening (and the day). Obviously steps to get there as up the hillside

I recommend!
I am very happy with my stay here. The place is away from the crowds, but above all, the service is wonderful! Contact with them is immediate, they help at every step. Breakfast is okay, beautiful view from the canteen and a huge plus are the monkeys on the premises.
