All I can say is WOW. Every single time I walked into our room and saw the view, I was blown away. This hotel is honestly beautiful, down to every little detail.
My partner and I have stayed in six different hotels during our time in Thailand, and this was by far our favourite and definitely the hardest one to say goodbye to. I’m genuinely so surprised by some of the negative reviews and would encourage anyone considering staying here not to let them put you off.
If you’re looking for a huge resort, then this probably isn’t for you. But as the name says, it’s a boutique hotel, and that’s exactly what makes it so special. You literally step outside onto a stunning beach, with the hotel’s own loungers right there.
They also have a partnership with The Deck, which is directly across the road – genuinely about a 5-metre walk! It’s absolutely stunning. The food at breakfast and lunch was amazing, and the pool area felt so luxurious. 10/10.
The service was probably the best part of all. The staff are some of the loveliest people and genuinely won’t let you lift a finger. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
The location is also perfect, right at Fisherman’s Village, where the atmosphere is incredible. There are so many restaurants, bars and shops around you, while the hotel itself still feels peaceful.
I honestly don’t understand some of the complaints about having to “walk across the road” to use the pool. You would probably walk further to reach the pool in a large resort!
The only tiny downside for me was the security at night. The stairs leading up to the rooms are directly accessible from the street, and there didn’t seem to be security, locked entrance doors or staff there overnight. Your hotel room door itself is secure, but as someone who is very conscious of safety, I would have personally felt more comfortable with an additional secure entrance to the accommodation area. That being said, we never actually had any issues and felt completely safe during our stay.
Overall, this hotel had everything we could have wanted. Beautiful rooms, an unbelievable view, a stunning beach, gorgeous pool area, amazing food, the loveliest staff and an incredible location. We genuinely did not want to leave and would come back in a heartbeat.

Lovely apartment
We booked two room apartment with sea view. It’s a great place to stay lots of room 2 bedroom 2 bath rooms small kitchen fridge freezer big balcony with table chairs 2 loungers view looking over the bay got cleaned every day it has sun loungers on the beach you can have breakfast there as well if you want we didn’t lots of bars restaurants near by try charm restaurant over the road very nice if I came here again I would book this apartment.doesn’t look much outside but apartment was fab also good air con

Hotel Riviera Beach Fisherman Village
The hotel is located within a fishing village, to a private beach hotel.
We arrived only at 22:00 in the evening and he waited for us until we arrived and only after escorting us to the room and explaining everything he went home. He constantly asks if everything is okay and if there is anything missing.
The room is spacious and a big bed, clean sheets with a good smell of laundry. Hot shower water all day.
There is also the possibility to wash in a hotel for 80 baht per kilo, fast service.
We took a room without breakfast and at one of the guests we asked for coffee, we got a coffee and a free fruit tray.
We ate breakfast for 600 baht per couple, a very fresh and delicious breakfast.
I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back in the future.

Beautiful
Absolutely amazing view, we had a sea view room, spacious and everything you needed.
Tea, coffee and water provided along with decent toiletries.
Quirky modern room, main bedroom, great bed, kids had another room, a little smaller with twin beds and own bathroom.
We chilled on balcony watching the sea.
You can and we did swim in the sea, and sat in the sun on the beach on the sunbeds provided.
Lovely fluffy beach/pool towels provided.
Location was amazing, minutes from centre of fisherman’s village, yes there was some noise at night but most of the market and stalls shut pretty early, 10pm.
You can see the fire show on the beach from the balcony.
There’s no pool but you are literally on the beach but you can use the Deck cottages pool, which is practically opposite, they ask you to buy drinks etc, we spent the day there, was like a posh beach club.
If I returned to Koh Samui, I’d definitely stay here again, great price for a perfect location and hotel.

Fantastic hotel
Beautiful small hotel with amazing facilities. Staff so friendly and helpful . Fantastic location in the heart of fisherman’s village . Use of other hotel’s facilities across the road a beautiful swimming pool , food & drinks , .. Rooms all very good , clean , everything you need.lovely sea view rooms and village side . Always had sun beds available on beach at hotel .
Staff where amazing as we got stuck in koh samui for a few extra days , managed to find us another room at the hotel for an extra couple of days .
Would highly recommended this lovely hotel .
Hopefully we will return next year .
