Great little resort with tons of character
I have stayed here and reviewed this before. On a nice location near everything you need, but not near any noisy bars or similar type establishments. The beach initially at the resort isn’t the best, but you only need to walk a few metres to the right of the resort and you have all of white sand beach in its glory. No sun beds, no parasols and no motorised water sports.
I booked for 9 nights. They told me upon arrival that they had made a booking error and I would have to stay for first 2 nights in a room, then change for the remaining 7.
As it turns out the room they allocated me was amazing. Huge terrace and complete privacy and hugely spacious interior, so I asked if I could stay there for the full 9 nights and they happily accepted.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, there is a good mix of guests and there is a nice relaxed vibe to the place.
It reminds me of the old school independent Thai resorts before the big corporations started building these modern overpriced and upmarket resorts.
This place has tons of charm and authenticity. If I ever stay in Koh Chang again I’d say there is a strong chance I’d check availability for this place.

MY PRISONS
We booked a room for three with a pool view through Booking.com in July 2025. We found ourselves in a barely livable cell with unmanageable luggage and a view of the parking lot.
When we complained to reception, the arrogant and rude lady, supported by an equally rude colleague, told us that it wasn't their fault but Booking.
The staff were unprepared and absent-minded, but very careful with their cell phones.
The beach service was nonexistent.
We tolerated it for a few days and decided to leave this pseudo-hotel early.
They improvised in a job that requires professionalism and kindness.
They definitely had the wrong job.
STAY AWAY.

Unchanged for 20 years but great!
Super welcome. The bungalows haven't changed in 20 years; this is the 3rd time I've stayed there. But the bungalows are well-maintained and charming with top-notch bedding. And then the beach is 20 meters away, easy swimming because there are no rocks! Another strong point for a hotel on White Sand Beach: the parking space! I don't see many weak points... maybe the sun loungers around the pool are a bit old, but the sea is 2 steps away, so who cares! Last point: the location, the Makro is very close, as well as small inexpensive restaurants during the day and bars at night.

Relaxing and familiar
Beautifully located hotel , especially noteworthy are the friendly staff in the restaurant as well as at the reception. The rooms are adequate and clean , it is cleaned every day . You also get towels for the beach and pool.
Criticism : All loungers “reserved” by towels already at 6 am since urgent intervention is needed!
For us this hotel was perfect as a family !

The beach is the selling point here. A great walkout and sunset spot. The hut room we had was acceptable but had a slightly moldy aroma if the ac ever turned off. The bathroom was a cool concrete mosaic!
The breakfast was all right. The location is central and renting a scooter is convenient.
