The best
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at ✨
From the moment I arrived, it felt like a warm and welcoming home, with a beautiful courtyard and a lovely pool in the middle that made the whole atmosphere incredibly charming.
The rooms were spacious and beautiful, with elegant and tasteful decor, and the hotel terrace was absolutely lovely.
What impressed me the most was the attention to the smallest details. Both in the room and throughout the hotel, everything had been carefully chosen and thoughtfully arranged to create a feeling of comfort and relaxation.
All the staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful.
Definitely one of those hotels I’ll leave with wonderful memories of, and one I would happily recommend. ✨❤️

Dar Ben Turkia was SUPERBA
I stayed at Dar Ben Turkia from June 29 to July 3, and it was truly one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had.
The front desk attendants were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making my stay unforgettable. They greeted us kindly every time we came and went, and their level of hospitality was exceptional. Two of the staff members even went out of their way to try to track down some skincare products for me and have them delivered to the hotel. Unfortunately, they weren't able to get them, but I was so touched by the effort they put into trying to help.
At checkout, I intentionally left behind two neck pillows, and they immediately contacted me on WhatsApp to make sure I hadn't forgotten them and to arrange getting them back to me. That level of attentiveness says everything about how much they care about their guests.
The hotel also provided security escorts whenever we went out, walking us to and from the property. While we personally felt very safe and didn’t feel it was necessary, it was still a thoughtful gesture and showed their strong commitment to guest comfort and care.
Located in the heart of the Medina of Tunis, the hotel offers an incredible sense of place. Being inside the Medina made the experience even more special, with easy access to the historic streets, markets, and cultural landmarks just steps away, while still feeling like a peaceful retreat once inside.
The property itself is absolutely stunning. It is probably the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in—and I’ve stayed in hundreds around the world. Every detail is elegant, thoughtfully designed, and full of character.
Our room was spectacular. There were three of us traveling together, and the layout was perfect. One person stayed in the upstairs sleeping area while two of us stayed downstairs, giving everyone plenty of space and privacy. The room was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and unlike any hotel room I’ve experienced before.
I have no complaints whatsoever. Everything exceeded my expectations, from the exceptional service to the breathtaking accommodations. If you’re visiting Tunis and want a truly special boutique hotel experience, I cannot recommend Dar Ben Turkia highly enough. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Very beautiful and tastefully renovated hotel in a traditional building. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. The staff, service, breakfast. Very comfortable beds and large spacious rooms with small kitchen. Everything was perfect. The location was good for us. Located inside the old market area. Would definitely stay here again if I travel to Tunis.

New Dar in the medina
Beautiful Dar located in the medina, compared to others we visited in the medina of Tunis, it is definitely better as it is newly built/renovated. Clean rooms; we had a clogged shower, and they promptly resolved it.

Absolutely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. SUPER clean, spacious, and it felt like a spa every day. Fridge allowed me to bring home snacks, and I could have cooked a bit if I wanted. Front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Water at reception was a great touch when I was in a pinch from being able to go to the market. The hustle of the surrounding market was a blast but it was completely silent in our room other than the sweet birds in the courtyard in the early morning. I was in absolute peace and highly recommend this hotel.
