The best hotel in Kemer

Would defenitly reccomend this hotel if you are staying in Kemer. Very clean, air conditioned rooms, great price, near city center and beach but still very quiet place. Hotel staff is top, nice and helpuf! Self service breakfast is tasteful! Overall the best price performance hotel in Kemer! Also swimming pool is well mantained.

Bad experience

Very noisy, difficult to sleep as there's music around the whole night. Internet not available even at the swimming pool area. The water from the shower goes all out as there's no door. If you don't have a choice for one night then go for it.

Good hotel at downtown of Kemer

Arikan is common three stars hotel. Rooms are big, but buthroom were awful. Shower cabs doors were broken and doens't close, so all water from shower were at the floor. We were at july, it was really hot outside, but air conditioning at rooms works perfect, so it was much easier at room. plus - a lot of cafes around the hotel and sea at 3 minutes walking. Food was the same all the time

ARIKAN THIEVES

It was my 5th time in Turkey and the last one thanks to Arikan hotel. Hotel was very dirty. When we got to the room, it was so dirty that we must clean it ourselves. Staff speaks no English at all! Food was tasteless and always the same. But, it was nothing compared to what happened to us there;
WE WERE ROBBED FROM THE HOTELS SAFE!!!
We put our money and passport in hotels safe (which was close to the reception), paid for 11 nights and on our 7th night when we opened the safe to take some money, it was gone. They didn’t take our passports but all our money was gone! We called the police and they investigate, took the fingertips and we spent the rest of night in the police, giving statement. Since no one speaks English in the hotel, they didn’t talk to us at all, that night and tomorrow we spoke with assistant to manager, and he wasn’t helpful at all, all he repeated was 'We can’t do anything, let police do this''. He didn’t even want to give us back the money that we paid for renting a safe for 11nights! We are sure that guys who are working there took the money, since one of them, called Kan, who worked every night, suddenly find alibi that he was in the hospital in Antalya that night, but we now he didn’t, ‘cos every night he was at the reception. Since all that happened 3 days before we leaved, police didn’t do anything and we leaved Arikan and Turkey with empty pockets and what should have been our holiday turned into a nightmare, thanks to people who work in Arikan hotel.
Don’t book this hotel ever!

What you see is what you get

This is a nice three star hotel in the center of Kemer. You have walking distance to all you need. The hotelrooms are of a nice size, though will the rooms with bunkbeds feel smaller, the bathrooms vary in size (we got a room with bunkbeds first and were moved to a doubleroom). Balconies in our building were small and only equipped with two pallets. Balconies facing east are to the street with music all night, but you will have afternoon shade. Balconies to the west are to the backyard, and afternoon sun. This got hot in the month of july. The aircondition in the room worked perfect and were included in the room. There are no safes in the rooms, but you get a safetybox in the basement. There are no minibar or refrigerators in the rooms. It is only two minutes walk to the pebble beach where the hotel offers free sunbeds and parasols at 155 Beach Club.
The majority of the guests are russians, and the receptionists are not very good at english. We enjoyed our stay!
