The food and service were excellent.

The food and service were excellent. The business was excellent, both in terms of location and organization. One of the rare places I left without regretting it.

Our wonderful holiday note

The hotel's fantastic location, delicious food, and friendly and welcoming staff made for a wonderful holiday. We met Mr. Hasan two years ago, and he will be the biggest reason why we choose Base Hotel for this holiday and for our future holidays in Selimiye. Zekeriya & Kader Aydın

Felt ripped off

Slow, over priced. The mezzes were tasty but the expensive prawns were overcooked.

Looking for a great vacation is here

If you’re planning a vacation at Marmaris Selimiye too, definitely don’t look for a standout hotel The breakfast is fantastic, the sea is amazing, the food at the edge is fantastic.
Specifically the hotel manager Mr Hasan takes care of each guest and his team's respect for each guest and service is impossible to describe in words
Because it gave us the most relaxed and most enjoyable vacation of my life with my family

May 2024 Review

Selimiye is our favourite holiday destination as a family of 4. We have been staying at the same holiday since 2016. Selimiye is a tiny town, still the location of the hotel is perfect.
This has been the 3rd owner we have seen and should say that the most gentle ones so far. The service is also really good.
The breakfast is really rich and well served. The restaurant is really good (the night photo is from our dinner table) and more economic compared to many costly ones around (Selimiye is not a town where you can find many economic offers; the coffee shops and restaurants are mostly over-rated).
The rooms are really good too (our room’s view is attached); renewed recently, very clean and housekeeping cleans ever day.
The reason for 4 stars is 2 things really: the shower arrangement at the room we stayed was frustrating - you cannot adjust the heat (it is either super hot or cold). And although May is a low season with so less people (there were a few more rooms while we were staying) the restaurant was starting a very loud local music that was wakening us up which was irrespectful. Other than that all good. We will visit again in Aug
