family holiday

Its a relaxing place in an amazing location especially the view of the nile from the cliff,the staff were really friendly and helpful.Another memorable family holiday that we all enjoyed.We plan to be back there for another great weekend this year.

Spectacular View by the Nile

Beautiful place. Very hospitable and friendly owner but it seems like he relies on the locals for human resource. The kitchen and service staff need more training.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It is one place you could consider to visit in a group, maybe have a campfire in the night or feel comfortable by the poolside. Breakfast by the river is one experience you shouldn't miss.

Beautiful place but needs better service

I visited the Bohemia Resort with my family and indeed the place is beautiful.. the view of the Nile is epic,the gardens are spacious..Though need more trees...The swimming pool is clean especially in the morning until non residents flock the pool .The worst experience of service thought that I have seen in all my travels and stays.
First of all,this is a new resort,so I would have expected better than what u experienced in service.Yes the receptionist is welcoming,but the kitchen....Not at all.This was Christmas time so we were more than one family there,we were over 4 families and then some.But waking up and heading for breakfast and ther is no one to serve u just sucked.And when after 1ht they come and take orders they literally say it's same as yesterday..ie baked beans sausage bread and eggs .At that moment I wish I had packed cereal for my kids and chapati.
Here is the thing...On top of having horrible service ...U do not have a variety.Oh and lunch time comes...They give u the menu...They take the orders and later come and tell you there is only fish... Ridiculous I thought.Even the so called Bohemian special...Was not available.
To be honest the moment I walked in I knew I would come back with my colleagues and my extended family...But after the worst service experience,I think I had it.
Please improve your service for the other hopeful visitors.

Booked this resort for two nights to relax at and practice taking pictures of bird life by the Nile before heading North on Safari
The Garden of the Resort did not disappoint.
Plenty of River birds and various scenes, cold beer and good food.
Watched canoes going down the rapids. Just perfect - the place settings in the restaurant would not be out of place in a top capital venue.

Vacation

A wonderful location overlooking the Nile River, with a most wonderful pool that sits in the center of the resort. Both staff members and owners of the resort are very personable, speak English and are a pleasure to be around. Even has a gym/weight room! I highly recommend this resort if your in Jinja!
