We were in room 109 overlooking the street. It was a great location with an amazing breeze and nice to check the weather before heading out for the day. The breakfast was nice, the eating area with outside patio was a bonus too. The staff is super friendly and the location is unbeatable. Highly recommend!!!

Very nice people. The hotel was in a really great location and we could look out our window at the Atlantic. There was plenty of street parking in the area and Punte del Este is a nice place.
Our room was just like the photos but It had a great modern split air conditioner. The monogramed sheets and towels were cool. The furniture was bare bones and old. In desperate need of replacement. We expected this and it was fine. The bathrooms were very nicely remodeled. Unfortunately, the mattress was really bad. We ended up putting both blankets they had in the closet under our bottom sheet to make it more comfy. Every hotel in uruguay seems to have this problem to varying degrees, but this was the worst one we encountered. The breakfast was simple, but nice.
We enjoyed our stay, but with some basic new furniture and some touchups you could really step it up.

If you find most hotels are expensive in Punta del Este, this is a good choice and value for money.

Very vintage 80's hotel that owner's grandma built . Still keep in very good condition. And the owner is very niceb lady. She showed me where to go, play n eat. N help me to book a local tour on the follow day. So I can utilize my short day. And see more other than just the beach.. The hotel provides very basic service, it's very clean. I like the bed linens and the towel which are very white and good quality.
Also the breakfast is very nice , It comes with Fresh orange juice, yogurt drink, coffee, fruits cup, water melon, different kind of bread, cream cheese, cheese and ham, jam, etc. I like the very classic cup and the cupboard.
You can take the breakfast at the outdoor garden as well. Very nice especially in the morning.
All the staff are very friendly. And they are flexible on the check out time in order to fit your schedule,( please check if you need), even I can take a shower after swam with the fur seal in Atlantic ocean before check out. It's a wonderful experience.
The bar is also very classic you can't find the same style in other hotels.
As I am not paying a 4 or 5 stars hotel price in Punta del Este. At the price I paid, it was worth it and more than I expected.
Last but not least, the location is super super convenient, close to bus terminal, the popuular restaurant, beachs and the bar and shopping mall. All in walking distance.
Highly recommended!!
