VERY BAD AND VERY GOOD

We were a group of 10 people on an organized trip; we were accommodated in this hotel, everything was correct, we went out to eat and sightsee around 4:30 PM. Three people with one of the guides returned; the rest stayed in Tashkent. We didn't even get off the bus; the guide spoke in Uzbek with someone from the hotel (a female voice, I didn't see her), and translated that we could not enter and go up to the rooms because "there was no electricity"; it was temporary, and after 2 or 3 hours we could return: LIE. They relocated us to another hotel of the same chain (everything was very good, but I don't know the name) while "the electricity came back." At the time we had agreed to meet in the lobby to go to dinner with the rest of the group, they appeared with their luggage ???, the guide also brought ours that they had packed in the bags as it suited them. It turns out that when the group of seven went to the hotel, there was indeed power. Therefore, the excuse they gave us was not true. In the end, we all stayed at the second hotel, and although it was almost unfinished, everything worked wonderfully: the rooms, the breakfast, the staff... I searched and searched online to see if I could find news about the closure, but found nothing anywhere; perhaps, resorting to AI could indicate it was a temporary administrative closure. We will always have the mystery...

Modern hotel, brand new, clean. But there is a lot of progress to be made regarding the welcome and customer service.

Group sightseeing tour:
The hotel is new. The rooms are clean and very spacious, with a bathroom featuring a walk-in shower.
Dinner at the hotel mandated by the agency: cold tourist dishes served, fries and chicken skewers included, dessert barely thawed. The staff does not understand English. It is important to know that the hotel does not serve any alcohol, including beer.
The staff is not very friendly; a smile wouldn't hurt.
The hotel is far from the city center but very close to the airport.
