Every member of staff, reception, leisure facilities, bar and dining and breakfast room staff were all welcoming, very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean with a comfy bed but would benefit from a refresh and sound proofing. Food was good. Enjoyed our short stay.

Fab overnight break

We had a great overnight stay with the grandkids. Room was spacious enough for the 4 of us and having a bath was a godsend. Swimming is great. We were a little disappointed we couldnt book in before we left due to availability. Next time we will pre book the night before.
We ate at the restaurant and Milly served us. Service was fantastic. Milly was polite and friendly , looking after is well.
Kids meals were great , big portions especially as they ate 3 courses . We had fish and chips and tempura chicken fillets . Delicious.
I did feel the older server was little abrupt in her mannerisms towards Milly , uncalled for . Milly had not brought over the desert cutlery for the kids . They were busy and she was waiting on a few tables . It was no big deal to get a couple of spoons. We felt that chastised her was a little unfair.
Apart from this incident. Its all 10/10

Another lovely stay

Stay here once a month very welcoming place staff are always very polite, I was served by Owen in the dining area s very polite lad.

Wonderful Stay

Great hotel!..the original Bucksburn Holiday Inn still lives and breathes as the ADH!!
The rooms are huge, beds comfy and the pool and gym area is excellent (although I do miss the jacuzzi of yesteryear that has now been filled in).
On top of all of that comes the food and wonderful service in the Caskiben!
On more than one occasion, I treated myself to a perfectly cooked fillet steak accompanied by the specialty Haggis Bon Bons (you’ve got to try them!)…both times, attentively served by Orla,
In fact, the staff in this hotel are just fantastic.
Highly recommended.

Great to have a pool and gym but it’s small and seen better days.
Room was spacious but tired and smelt musty.
Fridge in room a bonus.
Easy to walk to buses or train into Aberdeen.
On-site bar and restaurant was nice.
Breakfast quality not great and coffee machine had broken - there’s a Greggs opposite that would be cheaper and nicer coffee.
Friendly staff.
I’d rate this a 3* - like a premier inn but bed less comfy, breakfast not as good but has a pool.
