Brilliant overnight
Stayed at this Hilton lots it never fails to please.rooms perfect and pool ect great.. also a massive thank you to Lynne who was an amazing barmaid made us feel so welcome with her hospitality and friendly banter would highly recommend

Great service
On the occasions we visited, Laura served us coffee. Laura was very pleasant, helpful and professional and served great coffee.

Could be great, but customer service lets it down
I’ve visited this spa multiple times and have always tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after my recent visit, it’s clear the customer service is continuing to slip. A spa visit should be a relaxing escape, but lately, the atmosphere feels rushed, unwelcoming, and transactional. Customers shouldn't feel like a burden or like they're being pushed out the door as soon as they’ve paid.
A few main areas need improvement:
Booking & Communication: When calling to book, I had to chase up my confirmation email twice. Even while spelling out my name, the staff member on the phone seemed more interested in rushing off the phone than assisting me. Additionally, when I asked for a lunch menu at booking to check dietary requirements, I was flatly told it couldn't be provided.
Hidden Costs: Drinks are not included with the 2-course lunch, but this isn't stated on Groupon, mentioned upon ordering, or listed on the menu. While optional add-ons like extra chicken or garlic bread are clearly priced, drink costs should be transparent too. (On a positive note, the extra charge for robes and slippers was clearly stated in advance, which I appreciated). Overall the food was quite nice and fresh, and we really enjoyed it.
Staff Hospitality: To truly deliver a luxury experience, reception and booking staff need to be much warmer, friendlier, and more attentive.
The highlight of the visit was the treatment itself—my therapist, Carrie, was incredibly professional, provided a great service, and made the treatment lovely.
Overall, the facilities and treatments are good, but until the customer service improves, it falls short of the relaxing, high-end experience it should be.

We recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Strathclyde, and overall the hotel environment was fine and pleasant. However, we were disappointed with the condition of the toilet flush in our room.
The flush was not working properly and had to be pressed several times before it would flush. It then took several minutes before it was ready to be used again. The flush handle itself was also loose and felt as though it could break at any time.
We reported the issue to reception during our stay, but unfortunately no action was taken. What was particularly disappointing was being told that this was a “normal” issue here and that it would be discussed during a team meeting. I would expect a basic maintenance issue such as a faulty toilet flush to be addressed promptly, rather than being treated as something normal.
Apart from this issue, the hotel environment was good and we had no other major complaints. However, the lack of action after reporting a clear maintenance problem did affect our overall experience. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and checks the facilities in the affected rooms.
