Amazing

We have just enjoyed a lovely stay here, staff are very friendly, we booked for dinner and it was lovely with the best garlic bread I have ever tasted! Room was very clean with white fluffy towels and complimentary products. The bed was super comfy and we both slept very well, it was so peaceful and amazing view from window. Breakfast was top notch with so much choice, everything cooked to order as well. I’d 100% recommend this place and will stay here again.

A very pleasant stay

A very pleasant stay. Good room size which was in good condition with all the amenities you would expect. Large comfortable bed and an excellent power shower. Good quality tea/coffee with branded chocs which was a nice touch. Very friendly welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was excellent, tasty, large portions and reasonably priced. Wide choice of breakfast options. Will stay there again if in the area.

Superb lunch

Met friends for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious. We each had a different main course; sausage & mash; scampi & chips; Thai green chicken curry and sea bass fillets. Desserts; plum crumble and 3 apple strudel. Everything was SO tasty. The waitress was delightful as well. We shall certainly revisit.

Lacking atmosphere but ok

Food was okay and the service acceptable
Not great but not terrible
Just average really.
We had a great evening but it was the company rather than the venue.
Not the pubs fault but it went dead after about 9 so we ended up the last people there with a vague feeling they wanted to shut up shop

Good good

Good food (but not refined enough to get 5*), wide choice (including specials). The staff were very friendly and gave good and quick service. With a really nice garden this pub is a good place for a meal when you want to sit out in the evening sun. There is also a good range of beer. Will visit again
