Wedding

We had our wedding at the venue absolutely amazing from start to finish . Excellent service the rooms are beautiful the wedding room was especially amazing and the food must perfect . Would highly recommend as a wedding venue ❤️

A Fabulous Wedding Venue

A great day had by all at The Blackhorse Inn Berts rooms.
We had the Twilight Wedding Ceremony. Lydia, was incredible from start to finish, very organized, calm, responsive. and professional.She did everything we asked of her and made the rooms look stunning on the day. Nothing was too much trouble for her and the team.The buffet table looked stunning and plenty good quality food for all our 50 guests, especially the canapés.dietary requirements were listened to, discussed and met. Lydia was there throughout the whole day to make sure our special day went as smooth and stress free as possible .Thank you to Lydia and the entire team for making our wedding unforgettable! Great value and professional. Highly recommended

Fabulous wedding venue

We were lucky enough to hold our wedding celebrations at Bert’s room within the Black Horse Inn. Everything from the planning with Lydia to the actual event and the two nights we stayed in the hotel along with some of our guests was absolutely fabulous.!
We were made to feel very special and all members of the team gave us the most attentive service. The food both for our wedding celebration and also at breakfast was wonderful.
If you were considering booking this venue, don’t hesitate!

We stayed in a room in the courtyard across the road from the pub. The entrance to the building was scruffy with a dirty broken window and the entrance door had a sign (looked old) saying leave open as key stuck in lock. Corridor didn’t look great however The room we stopped in was lovely.
The Breakfast was delicious but the portion was small only one sausage few beans one slice of toast and a small cup of luke warm coffee.

Our 2026 Wedding

We held our 2026 wedding at Berts Rooms and Events at The Black Horse Inn and were blown away by the service from start to finish. Lydia, the wedding coordinator, was absolutely lovely. She was organised, reassuring, and genuinely invested in making sure our day was exactly what we wanted.
The team also catered for tricky dietary requirements with no problem at all, even handling a few surprise gluten free and vegetarian guests on the day. The canapés were especially good, and every detail was handled with real care.
The whole day ran like clockwork. The staff were warm, friendly, attentive, and communication was clear throughout, and they coordinated seamlessly with our other suppliers. Exceptional value for money and a truly outstanding venue.
