Overall a pleasant experience but a few details need attention

Lovely views of Lake Windermere. Friendly staff and great food at breakfast and dinner. Also a very nice spa that is free due to construction work on site.
A couple of things missing that I would normally expect at a 4* hotel- room not cleaned daily so from Tues - Sat cleaned once which isn't great for cups, glasses, sink. No air con or fridge in room. Basic and very minimal toiletries.
We also found the music in the bar/ restaurant from morning to evening a bit of a nuisance as our room was above and vibrated all day. Our neighbour said the same.

This stay was incredible. We stayed in a room with a lake view and hot tub, as we received an update for my birthday (originally booked without a view) and wow. The staff were unbelievably helpful, the hotel was absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was lovely and the food was also really enjoyable for the evening as we ordered room service. Sitting in a private hot tub looking out at the lake was just perfect. Will definitely be going back when the infinity pool has been built. This didn’t ruin our spa experience however as we were given complimentary access. There was a bar to get drinks from as well as two jacuzzis, a steam room and sauna. All was incredible clean and robes and slippers provided. Couldn’t speak more highly of the place. Thank you!

A lovely experience at the Spa

I attended the Spa and was welcomed by Sadie with a lovely smile. She was very friendly and I felt immediately relaxed. I had a massage and Megan again was very friendly and professional and the massage was amazing. I would recommend. Thank you for a lovely experience:)

Amazing stay!!!

Wow! This is our second time staying here, we came for our honey moon in 2021. The place has had such a beautiful re vamp which was a nice surprise when we got there. Along with another suprise Michelle on the reception desk what a wonderful woman! She showed us 2 empty room that we might want to pick from this was no 7 junior suite and was a beautiful room! We can’t wait to ring and arrange another stay for next year and see how amazing the place will be when it’s all finished. Our evening meal was steak fillet and was unbelievable! As was breakfast the day ! Over all an amazing stay!! Also shout out to Adam on the desk great help polite man! Nothing seems too much effort .youre both a credit to the team at beech hill ! Disappointed

We were very disappointed with our stay at Beech Hill Spa Hotel. We were not informed about the building works or the closure of the outdoor spa until after we had booked and paid. These facilities influenced our decision to book, yet no discount was offered for the reduced services.
Breakfast was particularly poor. We arrived at 9:15 a.m. and were told that the chef had baked only one basket of pastries and that, once they were gone, there would be no more. The bread and hot buffet were not properly replenished either. There were only a few slices of bread left, and as a non-meat eater, I found no tomatoes or mushrooms available. The small amount of scrambled egg remaining was dried out. You should not have to get up early while on holiday just to receive the full breakfast selection.
We paid extra for a higher-end room with a hot tub, but the room was not serviced and our towels were not changed. The room itself was also shabby, tired and not of the standard we expected for the price.
Overall, the undisclosed building works, closed outdoor spa, poor breakfast provision and lack of housekeeping made this a very disappointing stay. It did not provide the higher-end spa hotel experience we had booked and paid for.
