A few things to improve on
Check-in: Simple guide by text and email but unless you catch the attention of a waitress in the restaurant rooms are hard to find.
Rooms: Are of a good size and comfortable but lack a chair and table could get warm when restaurant is open as heat travels upstairs, windows open but the street is noisy but quietens down early even on Saturdays.
Bathroom: Looks nice but lack of shower tray means the whole floor stays wet there are floor mats but are only sufficient for quick showers. Sink doesn't align properly with taps so water flows behind it.
Location: Its in the centre of a small quiet town that hasn't got much to see within it, plenty of restaurants and a few pubs and a large Tesco nearby.

Lovely stay for 2 nights away
Check in was remote and very straight forward. The key code was text through before arrival then the key box code was also sent through.
The room was a very good size - the bathroom was more of a wet room but suited our needs - the plug was blocked but the issue was sorted within an hour with very good communication between us and the owner(s).
Could do with some double glazing as it’s on a main road and quite noisy.
Location is brilliant with a decent sized, free parking behind the hotel.
2 very good local cafes within a 5 min walk - breakfast was brilliant in both.
Would happily stay again if in the area!
