A Norfolk / Suffolk Gem offering outstanding locally sourced ingredients and transforming them into cullenary delights .
We have not dined at the Club House for a while but tonight's expirance reinforced the need to make it a regular occurance.
As soon as we stepped into the entrance a good vibe was felt. A warm welcome and we were quickly seated in the beautiful bar / restaurant area.
Staff are well presented , professional and go above and beyond to make your experience special.
Now the food !! Sheer joy.
Hanger steak , fresh salad , zingy sauce and tasty fries. Absolutely delicious cooked to perfection.
Be rude not to have a sweet to round off the meal so we did and yes New York Cheesecake with a Fritton twist delivered 100% satisfaction.
A truly fantastic experience from start to finish.

Enjoyable winter break.
We stayed for a couple of nights and fully enjoyed our stay. From the moment we walked into the hotel we were greeted with smiles and politeness and the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We sat in front of the open fire and enjoyed a Guinness or two! We dined both nights in the restaurant and the food certainly didn’t disappoint , absolutely delicious as was the breakfasts. The walk around the lake and the grounds themselves are quite stunning.
I don’t normally write reviews but this place certainly deserves all the accolades I’m giving it as we enjoyed it so much without doubt we will return. Thanks guys..!

Disappointed
Fritton lake is desperately trying to be Norfolks answer to Soho farmhouse but it’s struggling (Norfolk doesn’t want a Soho farmhouse!) The clubhouse rooms are tatty, the sauna and changing rooms are dirty and unmanaged. It’s unprofessionally run with only a handful of inexperienced staff. Its social media is a joke - tacky and Inappropriate posts which are swiftly taken down when they receive negative comments. The place is just trying too hard but can’t keep up with demand and failing fast. My experience of large groups of holiday guests hogging the sauna for hours and leaving it filthy really is the nail in the coffin for me and I will not be returning.
