Wonderful!

The most wonderfully beautiful and quiet setting, lovely light and airy accommodation and good food and service. The focus is on making the guests feel at home and comfortable…a bit of an anachronism today , when so many hotels are pretentious and so-called style triumphs over comfort, so wonderful to find and enjoy!

Shabby, NOT chic…..

This was once a very good hotel, but it has not been invested in for decades. It has no air conditioning (you even get that in a cheap Premier Inn these days), the shower in our room barely worked and the sink was partially blocked. There are hardly any staff - it sometimes took up to twenty minutes to be served coffee at breakfast. And despite the fact that we were paying over £250 a night they wanted to charge us for getting into our room an hour early! They have completely lost sight of the concept of hospitality….! The location is great, but this hotel needs a complete overhaul. I would not recommend.

Great Atmosphere and Friendly Staff

We came for the BBQ yesterday and had a lovely time. The atmosphere was really good, and it's a beautiful place for a short break in Cornwall.
A special mention to the chefs, who worked incredibly hard all day and never seemed to stop. The young girl serving was also so helpful and did her best to keep everything running smoothly despite how busy it was. She was friendly, attentive and worked really hard.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend a visit.

A room with a view.

My wife and I stayed in a studio with a lovely terrace onto the gardens and a picture perfect sea view. We had a wonderful stay, the staff were all very helpful and attentive and made us feel at home. The full English breakfast was perfectly cooked and there were plenty of refreshments available in our room and available if requested. We loved our room and a lovely sunset cognac on our veranda tipped our stay into one of the most enjoyable and memorable. We would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and will definitely be back if we can.

I thought I was in the Caribbean

Wanted to make the best of the heatwave so headed down to Cornwall for the weekend and wanted to stay in Truro to visit friends who live in the area.
The Rosevine turned out to be the perfect place to stay. The friendly staff, beautiful grounds, picturesque surroundings and a short walk to the beach made me feel like I was at a luxury resort in the Caribbean. From the many photos I took, it would be hard to tell the difference.
I will definitely be back.
