Great staff and a fabulous Yorkshire breakfast.
Great hotel and pub such friendly staff. The atmosphere in the pub was great to sit and relax outside with heater and blanket. The annex for us was great we didn’t experience any noise even with the window open. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever experienced great Yorkshire breakfast. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting you again. Thank you for a great weekend even if you did have to throw us out to close.

Not great
Warning if you book the small double room you will be in an annex down a back lane. It didn’t feel safe at all, very noisy and no privacy. Not sure how this hotel is so expensive or has such high reviews. Really disappointing after seeing pictures of such nice rooms online.

The room is clearly described as being located in our annexe when booking. We appreciate that its location and access may not suit every guest; however, the room has been in use for many years without any reported safety incidents. The doors have secure locks, while the windows are fitted with privacy film and blackout curtains to provide privacy.
As we are situated in Harrogate town centre, some external noise can unfortunately be expected, although we are sorry that this affected your stay.
We were also saddened to learn that this review was posted while you were still staying with us, without your concerns first being raised with our management team. Had we been given the opportunity to speak with you, we would have gladly discussed your concerns and explored alternative solutions, including another room where availability allowed.
We believe our prices reflect the quality of the accommodation and service we provide, which is also demonstrated by the many positive reviews you mentioned. Unlike larger chain hotels, every one of our rooms has its own character and layout, as the hotel is situated within an original Victorian building.
We are sorry that the room you reserved was not to your liking, but we hope you might consider returning and trying one of our other rooms—perhaps our Penthouse Suite, which features a roll-top bath and private balcony.

Great place Great staff
Great service from booking to departure. Staff very friendly. Carried case up to 2nd floor for us. Room 5 has super sized bed and walk in shower. We had dinner on the terrace and it was delicious. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to family illness but will definitely be back

Mid week stay
Perfect location, nice atmosphere and bar area. Good friendly staff, nice food and room large and enough storage. Not keen on shower curtains around bath however appreciate limited options. Would return if back in area. Definitely value for money.

Great hotel for a stay in Harrogate
Spent two nights at the Inn on Cheltenham at Harrogate.
Nice room (was upgraded to a suite upon arrival), and room and facilities were spotlessly clean.
Helpful and friendly staff both in the bar and in the restaurant.
Nothing was too much trouble, and the team reserved a table on the terrace with very short notice, which allowed us to watch the England game with some friends.
We didn't eat in the restaurant but breakfast was great and cooked fresh rather than from a buffet which made a pleasant change. Paid for parking behind the hotel, which was convenient and easy.
The hotel bar was busy both nights but service very good from all members of the hotel team.
Had a great weekend, and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay while visiting Harrogate.
