Lovely charming coach house with friendly staff and locals

We booked a two night stay using a voucher given to us from our son.
We took our dog and was informed before we arrived there would be an additional charge of £10 per night.
We had a large ensuite room (no6) which over looked the carpark. All staff were very welcoming and friendly, plenty of information leaflets to help choose with activities and places of interest to see .
Food was freshly cooked and the portions were very good, definitely worth the money.
Even the locals were friendly.
The pub and coach house is charming with everything you need, although the decor is a little dated I felt it added to its charm.
Plenty to do in the area and we have said we would definitely go again.

Very welcoming staff, good food, pizzas were amazing. The en-suite in our room (4) was quite tight so larger person may struggle!!!
Molly was super friendly and accommodating.

Had great two night stay with partner and dog. Staff very friendly and room very clean. Excellent breakfast ideally situated for exploring kielder and scottish borders. Will definitely return .

Nice pub, but same could not be said for the room which needed money spent on it. Bed was hard and pillows flat as a pancake. The worst thing however was the bathroom which was miniscule, and shower broke half way through (apparently this happens often I was told as the trip switch keeps cutting the power for quite a while I was told). Poor sound insulation from the pub downstairs and the occasional road noise. Dinner was tasty but very overpriced for what you got. Breakfast was quite good and staff overall were helpful and friendly. Shame as I wanted to like the place but there’s much room for improvement.

Nice staff. Poor bathroom. An old coach house so it is expected that things are old.
