The property is listed as Hammersmith (an adult apartment) property. However what it is is a student dorm called Iq student accommodation. The property misrepresented themselves and now fight to get a full refund for the bait and switch the company pulled on a very loyal hotels.com customer.
Unless you are a college student or young adult, I would not book here.
We left without checking in and used hotels.com to book into another property not too far away.

No aircon, window only opens a tiny bit at the top, rubbish fan provided - your room is basically a sauna, did not sleep at all. No iron or hairdryer provided.
Would never stay here again. Totally ruined my week.

If I could give this a lower rating I would. That room was so incredibly hot that it genuinely made me ill and I had to leave after one night, i checked out at 5am and booked another hotel. It was hotter in the room than it was outside. I was given a low powered desk fan and told to open the window to cool the room down except it was on the first floor and that window faced outwards onto a busy main road with a fire station and police station next door so every 15 minutes sirens came blaring by. When I raised the issue to front desk staff they just shrugged and that was it. i was not offered an alternative room or any additional help/ammenities. The fan and window did collectively nothing. It was unacceptable how hot that room was, it was more like a sauna and I got no sleep. Furthermore for a kitchenette you’d think they’d provide a bin? Nope! Not in the bathroom or in the kitchen. absolute bare bones, no hair dryer. nothing

All I can describe this stay as it was like living in a sweat box, completely unbearable with the heat in the room it even made the drinking water from a bottle warn.

If I could give this a lower rating I would. That room was so incredibly hot that it genuinely made me ill and I had to leave after one night and go book another hotel. I emailed IQ as well as leaving them a message on here and neither have been responded to. Do not stay here, you could probably book an actual hotel for an equivalent price.
