Stay away from this place

Stayed 4 nights, but was ready to run away after one.
The safe deposit box did not work, almost no room for to suitcases, fridge not cold, breakfast not ready on time and not cooked properly.
The staff was almost invisible, and when we met someone, there was no friendliness at all.
On the last morning, we found out, that one of the locks on one suitcase had been mendled with, lucky nothing was missing, and upon check-out not even a “hope you enjoyed your stay”

I would like to complain about the room I was assigned.
The room was located in the basement, and the window faced directly into the kitchen. Before 7:00 a.m., I was woken up by loud cooking and scraping noises, and cooking smells entered the room through the window or door.
None of this was mentioned in the room description. Had I known these details, I would not have booked this room.
I already raised this issue this morning, but no feedback - Zero! Very poor!

Didnt have option to prevent room cleaning during the stay as far as we saw and it made us worried for our luggage, a pipe above burst and we got alot of water coming out from the bathroom light socket, was told it was clean water and not to worry but never experienced clean water smell so badly it made it hard to even enter the bathroom. This ruined our stay. I wanted remburstment but I have yet gotten any or even a reply from the boss. If there are other option to similar price i would pick the other hotel.

Mixed bag but decent value

A real mixed bag. Check in was seamless with really helpful friendly staff. On first impressions, the room, though fairly small, was well equipped and very clean. Beds very comfortable with nice bedding. Air con worked well. The bathroom was disappointing, adequate at first glance, but only a shower curtain as it was so tiny, so water everywhere after showering. We were in the basement so a bit of concern about noise as breakfast room next door, but surprisingly quiet. Breakfast is complementary and included in the price,but was extremely disappointing. Sausage, fried and scrambled egg all cold and overcooked (no bacon), beans and mushrooms had ran out and not replaced while we ate. Very basic continental with poor quality products. Fruit choice was an apple! I would probably have complained if we'd paid for it. Overall, I actually would stay again for an overnight only as the sleep quality was really good and it was reasonable vale for money in London.
