The accommodation was far below any acceptable standard. When we arrived and opened the door to the apartment, we were immediately overwhelmed by a strong and unpleasant smell of stale cigarette. We had specifically booked a non-smoking apartment.
When we raised this issue with the host, the only solution offered was to have the apartment cleaned again. Unfortunately, this made no difference whatsoever, as the cigarette odor had clearly permeated the furniture and other furnishings. Since the smell remained unchanged, we informed the host that we could not continue staying in the apartment. However, the host refused to accept any responsibility for the situation or provide a satisfactory resolution.
The overall cleanliness of the apartment was also well below standard. The bathroom exhaust fan was covered in dust, the shower was heavily affected by limescale buildup, and the windows were so dirty that they left black residue on our fingers when touched.
Our experience with Hotels.com was equally disappointing. They accepted no responsibility for the situation and were unwilling to provide any meaningful assistance in resolving the issue.

Appalling place. Not fit for purpose. Freezer unusable, fully blocked with ice, bathroom door does not close, bathroom fan doesn't work (and when it did rained dust all over the floor), toilet seat broken, walls have significant cracks and holes, lacks basic kitchen facilities. Looks nothing like the photos on line. Spend your money on somewhere else. Overpriced dogbox.

Our apartment was a very poor standard. Freezer was fully blocked with ice so completely unusable, fan in bathroom did not work and rained dust when it did work, bathroom door broken & did not close, toilet seat loose, shower head hanging off wall, multiple holes and significant cracks in walls, blocked drain in shower and sink. No teatowels. Does not look anything like the photos on Expedia and in terrible condition for expensive price being charged.

Last minute owners cancellation despite us having booked in July! Reason: fear we might have a party despite only 2

We booked a single night stay 6th -7th Dec on 25th July. The owners cancelled 5 days before due to fear of us having a party in a one bedroom apartment and only staying one night. This simply does not ring true as this booking was made well in advance. This was part of an anniversary gift and was being much anticipated. To find somewhere for a reasonable price at this short notice is nigh on impossible! I don’t recommend this place - deeply disappointed and unimpressed!!

Good location

We stayed in the basement 2 person room. Very small room and bathroom, the mattress and sheets weren’t very comfortable. Liked that there was a washing machine and dryer. Location was really good, which made the small room and poor comfort somewhat worth it.
