Good stay for 1 night near to London, had air conditioning which was so welcome with the heatwave!

I had an awful experience with this hotel, both before and during my stay.
Before I even arrived, my booking details had apparently been compromised. I received a convincing WhatsApp message containing my full name, the hotel name and my booking date, which led to me being scammed out of £130.51. Multiple people in my group, who had booked through different websites, received the same scam message, making it clear the hotel was the common link.
I emailed the hotel asking for an explanation and what they were doing about the data breach. They never replied. When I called, instead of apologising, they told me that "other guests didn't fall for it" and claimed they were the victims too. Even after guests reported the scam, they never warned future customers that their data may have been compromised.
The stay itself was no better. The room was dirty, the sink was cracked, there were exposed electrical wires hanging out of the wall, and I left with eight extremely itchy bites that are consistent with bed bugs.
The complete lack of communication, accountability and concern for guests is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

We stayed in the basement room and it was quite spacious but the best part was the air conditioning! It was 35 degrees outside during our stay and a comfortable 19 degrees inside thanks to the A/C.
Parking was a little frustrating as you have to pay to park in the Morrisons next door. Street parking isn't allowed during the day (9.30 - 5.30).
Staff were friendly although they were unable to source extra pillows so it's one flat one each! Bring your own if you want more!

Room was cold, carpet was dirty, and the location was far away from the tube station (better to take the bus from the station to this hotel)…never wanna stay there again. Staff was friendly tho.

Absolutely horrible, run away while you can

Infectious room, with a smell of mould, and especially the presence of bed bugs and blood droppings on the sheets and mattress (photos in evidence). Sleeping in there is simply dangerous.
At the reception? Zero taken seriously. I am just offered to change the sheets, as if the problem was with the linen and not with a mattress obviously infested. No solution, no help, no professionalism.
I had to flee this hotel in the middle of the night and repay elsewhere, alone, at my expense.
It is undignified, dirty, and totally irresponsible to rent rooms in this state.
This establishment is a health risk.
I intend to report this place to the hygiene services.
