Depressing

Room 17.
The whole place is tired and really tatty. The decor is rough and it looks as though it was painted by someone who could not be bothered.
The bar area is grubby. The carpets are filthy and are threadbare and lifting in places. Again the decor is poorly finished. Food from the bar was okay. Staff are lacking any enthusiasm and were unable to answer any questions re food. The chef needs to communicate with the waiting staff so they know what is being served and what it consists of. Ridiculously priced for a two star hotel at best.
It cost more than a night at The Crowne Plaza in the Cotwolds!!

Awful

Awful.
Soggy bread, raw onion rings that were white and bad service. We had finished trying to eat the food before the tomato sauce arrived as the server had to take a phone call.
It was empty yet service was slow and no attempt to refund for the uncooked onion rings was made.
They were also out of ciabatta for the sandwich which we were informed of ten minutes after ordering.
The establishment is tired and in need of some serious TLC and new staff that actually care.
Go anywhere else.

Terrible room

Staff were mostly nice got to our room and the TV didn’t work the curtains were coming off the rails there were cobwebs everywhere the shower leaked and room looked really tiered,it wasn’t worth the money I’m afraid to say .

Hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment, I had to hook the curtains to the rail as they were hanging down. The bedroom furniture is extremely worn and marks on the walls. The floor in the dining room is dirty and worn, the breakfast wasn’t good the toast was burnt and the overcooked scrambled eggs was on top of it, not good!
