Everything, and more from a farmhouse B&B

I had the pleasure of staying at Manor Farm for days. It was a wonderful stay with exceptional hosts. Arriving late on a Friday night I was welcomed into a warm farmhouse kitchen and given a much needed hot drink along with a delicious home made cake.
The bedroom was very quiet, spacious and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
There is a very cosy guest lounge with a wood burning stove.
The hosts, Jeanette and Andrew are exceptional and I am looking forward to my next visit.

Best ever B&B

I stayed here for a family Christmas gathering in Poundon and couldn’t have asked for better accommodation and hosts. The old farmhouse has been beautifully converted into lovely rooms most with en suite bathrooms and views over the countryside. There is an immaculate guest sitting room and fully equipped kitchen with a well stocked fridge and cupboards for breakfast.
Jeanette and Andrew are warm and friendly hosts helpful but not intrusive. I thoroughly recommend this as a great place to stay.

A very pleasant place to stay

My wife and I visited recently for a single night.
Our accommodation was on par with many a 5* hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and I do mean spotless, even the top of the shower cubicle was properly dusted. The housekeeper obviously takes pride in her work and upon meeting her in the morning, her cheerful disposition demonstrated her positive attitude to her work.
The owners themselves are most congenial and make you feel welcome, evidently they are also good to their staff which in itself speaks volumes.
The main house is a delight architecturally. Several hundred years old, with wonky door frames, beams and uneven floors, it just exudes character.
The bed was extremely soft, which I happen to like. My wife said she would have preferred a firmer mattress, although sleep quality for us both was excellent. Bed linen was clean and crisp.
Plenty of hot water in the morning with good water pressure for the shower. It's the little things that matter in a B&B!
Breakfast was self service and bread was provided for toast and also a selection of cereals, fruit and yoghurt. The self catering kitchen was of course spotless and had full facilities including a tap for instant boiling water. Decor wise, it had an appropriate farmhouse feel and was well fitted out.
It would be nice if they offered a cooked breakfast, that would be the only thing I'd change, but I can't write a review without at least one minor gripe. Aside from that small point, it's one of the best B&B's I've stayed in.

Lovely calm stay

Stayed while my son was working in the area. Lovely room and kitchen faciility. Very clean and so quiet with no passing traffic. Lovely breakfast items including a strawberry yogurt which I now always buy.

One of the nicest bed and breakfast I have ever found ..set in beautiful countryside and fabulous hosts. Rooms are exquisite. And the kitchen fantastic for self catering ..altho everything is provided for breakfast including fresh baked bread...i have already recommended this place to friends planning to be in Oxford or a trip to Bicester..such amazing value for money...the hosts should be charging so much more. Wonderful.and can't fault it
