Peaceful hotel, friendly staff and tasty breakfast that is worth the extra cost
Came here with my partner for a night, and the rooms were clean and spotless. Beds were very comfy and easy to fall asleep in. Loved the tea and coffee amenities. The best part was the breakfast, which was very tasty and full of many flavours. Eggs were cooked to perfection, and toast was very crunchy and went very well with the tomatoes texture. Mushrooms were amazing. Orange juice is also served to you when arriving for breakfast, too. Tea and coffee are served, too. The tea was brewed brilliantly. Definitely will be coming back at some point ✨️

Appalling, aggressive attitude.
Stayed for one night mid August 2024.
Upon entry, around 6pm we were greeted by a chap who I think was called kevin. Very polite, very professional. Couldn't be any nicer.
We booked a double room, room number 1, which looked nothing like the Internet pictures advertising the hotel, as it was basically a very, very tiny single room with a double bed and shower shoe-horned into it. Barely enough room to swing a cat.
Perfectly acceptable for £100, though.
The following morning, we decided to go for a walk around 8am to get a breakfast at wetherspoons. On our way back, an old lady had fallen down infront of us, and we waited with her until the ambulance arrived. Rushing back, we took a wrong turn and ended up getting back to the savona at 10:15am, 15 minutes late of our 10am check out time.
We were only in the room a minute at the most, and a women called carol pounded and pounded on the door. Within a few seconds, she did it again. We opened the door, and she said, "you're meant to be out by 10", then said exactly the same thing again, like she was speaking to school children, not a couple in their late 40's.
She left a very aggresive voicemail on my phone, saying she's left our belongings in the bar and to make sure we "hand the key in" and that she's well within her rights to charge us the late check out fee which she wrote on booking.com, have a look.
Fair enough, we were late back, but there's a right way and a wrong way to speak and act with members of the public.
We left thinking, what on earth?
I know 1 star google reviews aren't good for any business, but I have to be honest, it's all the savona deserves.

Lovely clean stay
Spotlessly clean room and a lovey welcome. Great location and decent breakfast. Free parking is a bonus. Only a stones throw from the seafront. Great place for a night or two away. Nice quiet location. Loads of places to eat and drink nearby. Will happily come back again.

brilliant
the hotel was in the perfect location close to everything, the room was very clean and tidy, we had top ups of tea and caffee every day, the hosts were very friendly and helpfull, breakfast was lovely with plenty to eat, we are looking forward to coming back again later this year.

Helpful and polite hosts
Stayed here for four nights in a family room. It felt really comfy and just like home. Very clean and a top up of tea and coffee every day. We was out all day so felt this hotel was perfect for us Close and convenient to everything. Would definitely recommend. Coming back in September the owner couldn’t do enough for us
