A gorgeous experience every time!

Gorgeous, just gorgeous! In every way!
Hotel grounds are stunning. Rooms so comfortable. Bathroom spotlessly clean, lovely towels.
And the food! It's like stopping in a nice country hotel in France, just divine!
The staff are very helpful, with a special shout out to the Night Manager, Tim? Tom? who carried my luggage out to my car when I left at an insanely hour of the morning, so I wasn't alone in the carpark in the dark.
I have stayed here several times, halfway between North Wales and London. I always love it.

Great place for a wedding venue

My stepson had his wedding here on Aug 7th 2026. The place is lovely the grounds and the setting is beautiful! We stayed over and our room was so big with everything you could want from big screen tv , tea and coffee facilities a huge bathroom with a full sized free standing bath . The wedding meal was in the garden room which was set up beautifully. The meal was superb and hot!! No one had to wait as the staff ran it like a military operation. Excellent food from start to finish ! Bar was good nine had to wait to be served and prices were reasonable . Overall a fantastic stay with a great breakfast and again nothing was too much trouble.

Dog friendly 5 star.

Dog friendly room fabulous. Check in good and friendly.
Nice field to walk dogs and exercise them.
Booked to eat tonight. Usually faultless.

Celebrating an anniversary

Had a lovely afternoon celebrating our silver wedding anniversary with family. Staff were really helpful, great food. (Ordered sandwiches and chips from the lunchtime menu.) Thank you!

Peaceful retreat!

Beautiful setting away from any traffic jwith lots of outdoor space to walk or relax. Clean well fitted bedrooms and bathrooms overlooking the gardens ensuring a peaceful night. Excellent breakfast and tasty snacks for the bar.
Very pleasant and helpful staff.
