Staff was very accommodating and friendly except the grumpy bloke at breakfast sitting on the Monday morning
Breakfast was average to good…..the scrambled egg was not to my taste and looked off putting to start with and there was no option of fried eggs
The warmers all the hot food was in made the hash browns soggy so on both mornings I did not have anything hot
Bar closed at 10 o’clock on the Sunday night and I was asked to drink in reception and if I wanted anymore I could get room service but it was chargeable
Like I say there was good and bad points but in general I enjoyed my stay

Our family room was BOILING and this on a day where temps were only 24 so really not overly hot. 2 fans in room, neither which worked. Another was provided when asked but honestly it really didn’t make for a comfortable stay.
Second, pitched as family friendly but only between certain times. Kids can’t use the pool after 7pm or before 9 am. And at weekend breakfast served from 8. I have kids that wake early so was stuck in my room with whole family from 6am with nothing to help entertain them. TV wasn’t even smart so can’t even get Disney+ linked. A Smart TV is an absolute basic in a hotel now! To rub salt in wounds, Sky TV available in the bar but not in rooms! Not designed well for families when really small amendments would make all the difference.
