Lovely Stay
We stayed in a Deluxe Room from Friday to Sunday and had a really lovely stay.
The room was huge, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with plenty of space to relax. The bathroom was absolutely massive! If anything, it was perhaps a little too large for the space, and a bigger shower and his-and-hers vanities could have made better use of the room. That said, everything was beautifully clean and well presented.
We really appreciated all the thoughtful little touches in the room. There was a lovely selection of teas and coffees, fresh milk and water replenished daily, as well as some sweet treats and biscuits in the fridge. The robes and slippers provided for the spa were also a lovely touch.
The spa itself was lovely, clean and relaxing. We didn't have any treatments during this visit, but we'd definitely love to try them next time. The swimming pool was also beautiful. My only small observation would be that the window overlooking the outside area could perhaps be frosted, as it faces the terrace and car park. That's probably just personal preference, though!
The staff were fantastic throughout our stay — friendly, welcoming and genuinely couldn't do enough to help.
We only had breakfast during our stay, but the continental selection was lovely and there was plenty of choice. The cooked breakfasts were also delicious.
The only other small point is that the car park is quite tight and can fill up, particularly if you're driving. We had a large 4x4, so that's probably more our problem than the hotel's!
Overall, we had a wonderful weekend and would happily stay again. The attention to detail, beautiful rooms, lovely spa and genuinely friendly staff made it a really enjoyable stay. We're already looking forward to coming back — and hopefully trying one of the spa treatments next time!

Still perfect.
Thank you for another amazing anniversary break at the belgrave sands. I dont know what to say that I haven't already. Every year from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave are giving special treatment. Staff warm, friendly, welcoming. Nothing is to much trouble. The rooms freshly made every day, every surface inside and out perfect. The staff here from top to bottom work hard to keep this hotel one of the best in torquay and it shows. My only very small criticism would be the parking. A downfall of their success as so many want to visit. Maybe they can find a way to prioritise guests staying overnight. Numbered bays and the opinion to reserve a space for the length of your stay when booking. The car park can have more empty spaces by the late afternoon but thats not helpful to those who have luggage ect. We will return again and have recommended this wonderful hotel to many.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay at the Hotel again in the future.

Had a two nights stay and can only say 10 out of 10 ,staff helpful and friendly, room spacious and clean and the breakfast was great, overall a lovely stay

Excellent as always!
We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times , and this was our third 4 night stay this year alone . We love it and the high standards haven't dropped at all in the years we've been returning. Exellently maintained , hotel areas spotless and same for the spa and pool area. Pool towels available at reception . robes and slippers in all bedrooms.
We didn't use the small well equipped gym this holiday. Gardens and carpark kept tidy. Carpark free for hotel guests , register on pad on arrival.
Nice flat walk to the Abbey Sands seafront which is only about one minute walk away . Abbey Gardens right across the road are nice to walk through.
The best thing about this hotel is the friendly and very efficient staff and the excellent food. We return regularly because we feel so comfortable here.
Kim the owner , and Chloe receptionist were so welcoming when we arrived , and the rest of the staff greeted us like good friends . Complimentary coffee and tea served in the lounge on arrival when ready .
All the staff are friendly and looked after us well with being very good at their jobs.
A special mention to Kim, Chloe, Evalina, Vadim , Emelia , Ava , Izzy , Rocco , Andy and Phil who gave us such a friendly welcome back and really made our holiday.
Our favourite 'Signature' room had a large water cooling fan , in addition to a normal fan . It was rather warm due to the heatwave , but bearable with the fans on. The windows have a safety limiting catch on , but you can flick this off to open the windows wide .
I like soft pillows so requested feather pillows And a rubber bathmat for the large walk in shower ,which was in the bathroom on arrival.
Room cleaned to a very high standard every day by friendly housekeepers. Fresh towels supplied daily if required , and beverage tray restocked along with the fresh milk and water daily. Easy to use safe at a decent height in the wardrobe. Iron & Ironing board , good hairdryer in room. Bathrobes and slippers .
Free wi-fi works well.
Breakfast and evening meals were cooked to perfection and well presented. Good selection of cold buffet and hot breakfasts each morning. The breakfast chef came around the restaurant some days to check all was ok. Special requests catered for (I requested really crispy bacon and it came just as I like it )
Lots of choices for the 6 course eveniing meal. The 'tasters' course is a must , small cups of soup that are so tasty .
Pianists for a couple of hours each evening , all good but our favourite was Martin . Entertainment , which takes place in the dining room, is a singer on certain evenings.
Well stocked bar with draught lagers, beers and cider which are kept well.
The lounge bar area does get busy with afternoon teas and meals being served during the daytime to non residents , meaning many tables are reserved .
Thanks to all the staff for making it yet another fantastic holiday. Looking forwards to seeing you all again when we return in November.
