Excellent stay

Stayed here for 2 nights in August.
Excellent location 5 mins to Windermere and 15 mins downhill to Bowness.
Vicky was so lovely and her little dog Jett too. She has done herself proud doing this house up the decor is lovely and modern.
We stayed in the Grasmere suite which had lots of space, 2 lovely big windows so loads of light coming in. There was a table and 2 chairs and a little sofa. Lots of lamps and good lighting, mirror on the wall. The bathroom was a great size with a spa bath and mood lighting, lovely toiletries from the White Company so no expense spared there! Loved the smell of them, towels were fluffy white thick and excellent quality. The bed was so comfy slept like a log, its very quiet you don't hear any noise.
There is a safe, hairdryer, tea, coffee kettle etc, fully stocked minibar, wine and Vicky gives you a price list when you get there.
Vicky showed me round some of the other rooms which were lovely. The breakfast was delivered to the room on a trolley at a time you pick yourself which was a really nice touch. Thank you Vicky for a lovely stay would highly recommend this place to anyone the area is great too, lots of bars restaurants lovely walks, the lake will definitely be back again!

The best of the best

Stayed here for 2 nights every year for 5 years now, vicky is the best host we've ever had at any accomodation, she goes above and beyond to ensure every stay is perfect, very helpful friendly and knowledgable of the area. The suites themselves are beautiful, well maintained and always clean, the mornings breakfast has so many options and is consistently fresh and delicious. You honestly couldnt ask for a better place to stay or a friendlier face to ensure all your needs are met. If i could rate the place 6/5 stars i would. Been one of our favourite memories each and every year. Thank you <3

Really enjoyed our stay breakfast was lovely delivered to our lovely room...can't wait to stay here again bed was very comfortable near amenities no complaints from Mr and Mrs Parry x

Excellent stay

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at this fabulous hotel.
We had a lovely genuine welcome from Vicky (owner/host) and her gorgeous Cockerpoo.
The hotel is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. Lovely suite. Great attention to detail.
The breakfast is superb , excellent choice ,good quality, served at your preferred time.
Location, and parking excellent.
It is very difficult to find such excellent hospitality, but Vicky and her warm cheerful professionalism, accompanied of course by I think Jet, her gorgeous dog have accomplished this.
Vicky, thank you for a lovely relaxing stay, we will definitely be back. A five star experience

Amazing!

What a Fabulous stay we had! The room was cosy, clean, attention to detail with decor made the room feel special. And of the spa bath was an added cherry on the top! The breakfast served to our room was amazing! Vicky was welcoming, helpful & nothing was too much! I will definitely be going back!
